Our GAM3 Awards, a key event in the web3 gaming landscape, is set to make a return in 2023. The event's jury lineup, a blend of familiar faces from 2022 and new representatives from various sectors of web3 gaming, has been unveiled. Notable additions include figures from web3 gaming venture capital firms, blockchain and ecosystem experts, infrastructure partners, and content creators, alongside established gaming leaders and tech giants like Amazon and Google.

We are proud to introduce one of our jury members Agnes Kim, who is currently the Director at Xbox (Microsoft) leading their Global Expansion Team. Her focus is to bring in more games from growth market regions to Xbox and make their platform the best for global developers. Agnes also leads the team that manages creator partnership efforts in Korea, SE Asia, India, and Africa.

1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role? 

"Getting to talk to developers and learning about their games!"

2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year? 

"I honestly, don’t know much about the web3 gaming market but I see that there was an explosion of interest a few years back, and now it’s more stabilized with professionals and experts taking hold of the market."

3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any? 

"It allows players to focus on the game rather than having to choose a platform which I think is crucial."

4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming? 

"I think ultimately, content is King. Great games will draw the public and evolve web3 gaming more. As the industry matures, hope to see more genre & quality & diversity of games!"
