The Forgotten Runiverse will launch a new in-game event on May 5 at 3:00 p.m. ET, featuring a 5,000,000 $PIXEL prize pool. This event introduces new ways for players to earn, spend, and interact with $PIXEL in a dynamic game environment, alongside a wide range of updates aimed at enhancing both gameplay and community engagement.
Forgotten Runiverse is designed to integrate player-driven ownership and engagement, reimagining traditional gaming structures by allowing players to shape the game world through their actions. With an expansive narrative, detailed world-building, and strategic gameplay mechanics, the game offers a dynamic experience that continues to evolve. The global early access phase introduces players to a living, breathing world filled with quests, dungeons, and opportunities to earn in-game rewards.

During the event, players can participate in claim periods by converting their Quanta into $PIXEL. Accessible through the event button on the main interface, this feature offers two claim windows, each lasting two weeks. Players can bid as much Quanta as they choose to secure a share of the $PIXEL prize pool.
The $PIXEL token will have increased utility during the event. Players can use $PIXEL to purchase Mana and Boosts, which provide gameplay enhancements across various mechanics. All purchases made with $PIXEL in the in-game store will benefit from a 20 percent discount throughout the event, encouraging broader use of the token during this period.

A special set of limited-time rewards will be available from the Font of Memory. Players can acquire themed items such as the Pixels Cow Mount and Pixels Robe Cosmetic, each with three tiered levels. These items are mintable and only available during the event, providing exclusive incentives for early participation.
A new feature allows players in the Forgotten Runiverse to share Quanta earnings with co-owners, builders, and even visitors. Through the Land Management UI, landowners can configure reward distribution, enabling collaborative projects and incentivizing more interaction with player-owned plots. This marks the first time visitors can earn Quanta from interacting with land elements like forges or crafting stations.

Both daily quests and the main quest line will now award players with Quanta. This change offers new pathways for earning the in-game resource, whether through short daily sessions or by progressing through the longer narrative. It should be noted that rewards from the main quest line will only apply going forward and are not retroactively granted.
The Forgotten Runiverse expands its gameplay offerings with the introduction of Delves. These open-world exploration points provide challenges and rewards without loading screens. Scattered throughout the game world, Delves are designed to encourage discovery and participation outside of traditional dungeons.

Players can now infuse buildings on their land plots to improve performance. Infused Temples generate more Mana, Gathering Stations yield more resources, and City Stones reduce travel costs while gaining visual upgrades on the map. Infusions also double the amount of Quanta a building produces. Additionally, the Forge and Mage Workshop benefit from higher infusion levels, increasing the quality and attributes of crafted items.
A new memory-optimized game client has been released to support players on slower internet connections or older devices. The update includes significant improvements for iOS and now extends compatibility to a wider range of Android systems, helping to make the Forgotten Runiverse more accessible.

Players can now purchase Mana and Boosts using credit cards. This update simplifies the process of enhancing gameplay and reduces the need to convert real-world currency into tokens for basic in-game transactions.
The V1 Creator Program has officially launched, allowing content creators to earn a $500 USDC payout once their audience generates $5,000 in net in-game purchases. Each creator receives a personalized referral link embedded directly into the game interface, making it easier for community members to show support. Additional platform program perks will include early content access, branded assets, and creator-only communication channels.

A number of updates aim to improve overall gameplay. Mounts now offer reduced fast travel costs based on rarity, gathering stations can be changed for a small Mana cost, and issues related to Gold distribution from Guardians have been resolved. Players will also notice improved drop rates from Omens, more balanced dungeon encounters, and color-coded enemy outlines based on difficulty.
The Forgotten Runiverse has introduced a weekly livestream series titled The Otherworldly Show. Hosted by the game’s Social and Community Lead, the show features live gameplay, community spotlights, and guest appearances. Episodes air every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. ET and are also available on the game’s official YouTube channel for those who miss the live broadcast.

These upcoming updates reflect the game's continued investment in content development and player experience.
