DOGAMÍ, a mobile pet racing game developed with support from Ubisoft and Animoca, has rolled out two major updates: a new Battle Pass system and exclusive pet customization options through cosmetics. Introducing Battle Pass

The Battle Pass is the newest progression mechanic in DOGAMÍ, allowing players to earn rewards by leveling up within a monthly season-based system. This structure introduces a Free and Premium Battle Pass track, each offering different levels of rewards based on player participation. Every season, lasting approximately 30 days, offers players around 50 levels to progress through, with each level unlocking a unique reward.

To advance through the Battle Pass, players need to collect Battle Points, which are earned by completing daily and weekly missions. Battle Points play a crucial role in progressing through the Battle Pass. Harder missions grant more points, though players can earn a smaller number of points from regular races as well. Importantly, Battle Points reset with each new season, so players are encouraged to complete missions and claim their rewards before the season ends.

For those seeking higher-tier rewards, the Premium Battle Pass can be unlocked with 500 NUBIX, the in-game premium currency, which can also be acquired by converting DOGA tokens. Season 1 of the Battle Pass launched on November 6th and will run for 34 days, requiring players to claim their rewards before the season concludes, as unclaimed rewards expire. Players holding Doga Bones, a special in-game item, can also benefit from experience multipliers that accelerate their progress through the Battle Pass.

New Cosmetics for Pet Customization

Alongside the Battle Pass, DOGAMÍ now offers a new range of pet cosmetics. These customization options enable players to style their pets with Collars and Skins, adding a fresh aesthetic layer to gameplay. Currently, cosmetics are available as non-NFT items, though future updates are expected to introduce NFT-based customization options, allowing players to own and trade unique cosmetic assets on-chain.

For this initial rollout, there are eight cosmetics divided into three rarity tiers. Players can earn four Collar cosmetics and four Skin cosmetics through the Battle Pass or racing. Collar cosmetics are a key customization item, with themed designs including Horus, Snakes, Beetle, and Winged, each classified as Rare. Skin cosmetics, meanwhile, allow players to adjust their pets' natural appearance with distinctive patterns and textures.

Skin designs currently available include Horus Green Symbol (Uncommon), Horus Red Symbol (Uncommon), Sand Cloak with Blue Mark (Epic), and Sand Cloak with Gold Mark (Epic). These cosmetics do not alter the physical attributes of a player’s Dogami NFT but enhance the visual appeal, allowing for unique personalization. Players can apply these cosmetics to any pet they own or care for within the Pet-sitting system, with items automatically unequipping once the Pet-sitting session ends.
