The highly anticipated Boxing Star X has officially launched its Closed Beta phase. As a Web3 adaptation of the globally popular mobile game Boxing Star, this release marks a significant milestone in Delabs Games’ strategy to redefine mid-core gaming on Telegram’s Mini-App Ecosystem.
Originally launched in 2018, Boxing Star is a globally popular mobile mobile sports game, developed by 4:33 Creative Lab. With over 60 million downloads, the game has earned a reputation for its simple and intuitive boxing mechanics, engaging gameplay, and deep customization options.
Players start as underdog fighters in the streets and work their way up to becoming champions. With swipe-and-tap controls, they execute jabs, hooks, and uppercuts, all while dodging and blocking to outwit opponents. Along the way, they can customize their boxers with unique outfits, gear, and tattoos, adding a personal touch to their in-game avatars. The game offers a mix of single-player story progression and multiplayer leagues, making it appealing to casual and competitive players alike.

Boxing Star X is the Web3 evolution of the original game, designed to run seamlessly on Telegram and LINE’s Mini-App Ecosystem. It retains the core gameplay elements that made the original so successful but will soon introduce blockchain-based features like in-game asset ownership and exclusive rewards.
The Closed Beta Test (CBT), live from January 7 to January 14, gives players an early look at the game while offering them a chance to earn exclusive Genesis Star Badges and other rewards that will carry over to the official launch. Players can participate in events, test features, and even box as Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov, a playable character in the game.

Delabs is expanding its reach by developing mid-core games for Telegram’s Mini-App Ecosystem. This platform allows developers to create interactive apps and games that work seamlessly within Telegram’s messaging interface. The move aligns with Delabs’ strategy to leverage Telegram’s large user base while introducing innovative blockchain-based features.
Additionally, Delabs is working on a Web3 version of the "Ragnarok" franchise, another well-known IP, further diversifying its portfolio of mid-core games for Telegram. This initiative highlights Delabs’ confidence in the potential for messaging platforms like Telegram to serve as a new frontier for gaming innovation.
The original Boxing Star game has built a strong reputation with millions of downloads worldwide, praised for its engaging gameplay and extensive customization options. With Boxing Star X, Delabs Games aims to bring comparable success. Its integration with Telegram and LINE presents an opportunity to expand its audience while retaining the appeal of the original game.
