Champions Ascension received its latest update in the game's pre-alpha phase, targeting significant enhancements in combat functionalities and open-world experiences.
In the combat zone, the introduction of 'Player Bounties' brings a thrilling dynamic to the game. Now, players can tag others as a bounty, rewarding those who defeat the tagged players in 1v1 and 3v3 matches with bonus tickets. With bountied players' names appearing in red, this newly added feature offers interesting dynamics and is set to bolster community interaction.
Several fixes in the combat zone have been implemented to enhance the overall user experience. Issues with the Darulk's FoT, which had a discrepancy between the VFX and the actual damage area, have been addressed. Similarly, problems with the Fenrir's HHH combo not connecting properly on Il'gra have been resolved. The team has also ensured that Aos' projectile is no longer affected by tickets.
Additionally, the developers have repaired an issue that disabled the Combo Breaker if it hit an enemy during a dodge. Various problems with the Darulk tentacle pull, including multiple hits and unsuccessful pulls, have been rectified.
In terms of open-world enhancements, a new command has been introduced to hide the User Interface (UI) for better gameplay visuals and screenshots. Currently assigned to CTRL+F3, this command is slated for modification to a more accessible key in the upcoming days.
Open-world gameplay also witnessed a significant fix that resolved a bug causing the initial camera to penetrate through walls. This particular enhancement will ensure a more polished login experience for the players.
