BloodLoop Introduces Crafting Nodes to Enhance Game Economy

Developer 7 Digital Labs has unveiled a new feature for their MMO-FPS game, BloodLoop: crafting nodes. These nodes are designed to reward players with $BLS tokens, contributing to the game's evolving economy. The announcement came via the official BloodLoop X (formerly Twitter) account, detailing the nodes' role in distributing fees generated from various in-game actions. In this article, we will cover everything you need to know about the game and its latest updates.

What is BloodLoop?

BloodLoop is an MMO-FPS game featuring a decentralized economic ecosystem, inspired by leading competitive video games. The game addresses the disparity between traditional gamers and those engaged with decentralized titles. With over 3.4 billion gamers worldwide and only 14 million regular users of decentralized games, BloodLoop aims to bridge this gap.

The MMO-FPS operates on an Avalanche subnet, a dedicated blockchain within the Avalanche network, designed to facilitate seamless and secure transactions between players. By leveraging this infrastructure, BloodLoop eliminates in-game transaction fees and minimizes friction for players unfamiliar with blockchain technology.

Recent $4 Million Funding

The Swiss gaming studio 7 Digital Labs recently raised $4 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by prominent entities such as the Avalanche Foundation, Merit Circle, and Citizen Capital. This substantial funding will facilitate the completion of BloodLoop's development and its subsequent launch into the gaming market. CEO & Co-founder Luca Menale expressed the company's vision, stating, "Our goal is to create gaming platforms that provide users with a fluid, next-generation gaming experience, leveraging the advantages offered by blockchain technology."

Crafting Nodes and $BLS Token

Crafting nodes are a significant addition to BloodLoop's economic system, which revolves around collecting materials and crafting items. The nodes allow holders to benefit from the game’s growth by earning $BLS tokens from fees associated with various actions in the BloodLoop economy. The $BLS token, which launched on June 10th, is central to the game’s financial ecosystem.

The introduction of these nodes is part of a broader effort by 7 Digital Labs to integrate web3 elements into BloodLoop, ensuring the community benefits from the game’s financial activities. Emissions per node will depend on the node's level, which can be increased by staking more $BLS tokens. Additionally, owning NFTs from the game’s two collections can provide multipliers of up to 1.5x on the rewards.

Distribution of Rewards and Launch Details

The crafting nodes will distribute 100% of the crafting fees, along with half of the marketplace fees, royalties, and other $BLS sinks, to holders based on their node level. This system is designed to ensure that active participants in the BloodLoop economy are rewarded proportionately.

A total of 35,000 crafting nodes will be minted on the Avalanche C-Chain in late June, coinciding with the start of the first Play-to-Airdrop Season 1 (more details below). Each node will be priced at $200 USDT and 100 $BLS tokens, with all collected $BLS tokens being burned to decrease the total supply.

Developer's Note

7 Digital Labs encourages all players to sign up and participate in the Season 1 Play-To-Airdrop. This event is a key component of BloodLoop's broader strategy to integrate a real-money economy within the game, allowing players to earn tangible rewards through their in-game achievements.

BloodLoop continues to innovate in the MMO-FPS genre by merging traditional gaming elements with the decentralized economic benefits of web3, aiming to bridge the gap between mainstream gamers and the blockchain gaming community.

For those eager to join the adventure, now is the perfect time to mint your battle pass and prepare for the thrilling quests that await in BloodLoop's Season 1 Play-To-Airdrop. For more information please check the official BloodLoop X (formerly Twitter) account.
