If you haven’t checked in for a while, Apeiron is a unique blend of roguelite and RTS elements built around summoning Apostle units in card-based combat. You control massive avatars in both PvE and PvP modes while building out your deck and managing your own planets. It’s available on PC via the Epic Games Store and Mavis Hub, and on mobile through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

VIP PvP Battle Pass and 30k USDC Prize Pool

The biggest headline this season is the reworked reward system tied to the VIP PvP Battle Pass. Buying the battle pass now opens up multiple ways to earn real USDC. The top 200 players on the leaderboard will share in a 30,000 USDC prize pool, but the game also introduces Divine Keys - items that can drop more USDC depending on your activity and in-game performance.

To be eligible for leaderboard rewards, you’ll need to buy the VIP Battle Pass, reach at least T6 rank, and climb into the top 200 before the season ends. The first-place prize includes $100 USDC and 20 Divine Keys, with the payout scaling all the way down to $3 USDC for players ranked 151 to 200.

Outside the leaderboard, Divine Keys are the main way to earn additional USDC. You earn one for every five points gained through a mix of ecosystem activities like increasing your PvP rank, leveling up your VIP status, and boosting your NFT stats. These keys come with randomized USDC drops - a 1% chance of scoring $10 to $100, a 5% chance for $5 to $50, and a 95% chance of getting between $0.50 and $3. You can also pick up Divine Keys by using APRS or ANIMA to breed planets, mint Apostles, or buy items in the VIP Shop.

How You Can Unlock The Summoner

Season 7 adds a new Apostle class: the Summoner. It opens up a different kind of tactical playstyle, letting you bring in a mix of wild creatures like boars or explosive baby spiders to the battlefield. The class blends offense and defense, offering more options when building your deck.

You can unlock the Summoner by battling through PvE dungeons and minting the class as an NFT, or you can purchase it directly in the VIP Shop. Level 1 VIPs get a Normal Summoner Ticket, while Level 4 VIPs unlock the Golden Summoner Ticket. To make things more accessible, the team has lowered the VIP Level 1 staking requirement to 320 APRS tokens, and Level 4 now requires less than 11,000 APRS.

How You Can Upgrade Your Planet NFTs

One of the biggest system additions this season is Chronomerging. This lets you combine two Planet NFTs to boost the stats of one and burn the other in the process. The upgraded planet inherits the age of the one you sacrifice, and also takes on higher Exordium and a lower Planet ID.

If you want to go further, you can spend 8,000 ANIMA to transfer skills and perks from the sacrificed NFT over to the one you're keeping. Chronomerging is available directly through the Apeiron Marketplace, giving players with extra Planet NFTs a new way to level up their main assets without starting from scratch.

Smarter AI, Faster Matches in PvP

Season 7 also comes with improvements to the game's AI, particularly in PvP. Starting from Silver rank T7, if you can’t find a human opponent within 30 seconds, you might be matched against an AI bot. These bots are now more intelligent and offer a tougher challenge, keeping queue times short without sacrificing match quality.

According to the dev team, this is just the beginning for AI improvements, with more planned for future seasons to keep the game competitive and engaging even when player populations fluctuate.

Other Changes and Quality of Life Updates

Season 7 comes with a long list of tweaks to the game's economy and progression systems. The cost of items in the VIP Shop has been rebalanced, Apostle minting and breeding costs have changed, and Divine Keys are now available for direct purchase at 300 APRS each. The number of keys you can buy depends on your VIP level, giving higher-staked players more access without locking out lower-tier participants.

To take part in the latest season and get access to the leaderboard rewards, players will need to buy the VIP PvP Battle Pass for 1250 APRS tokens - roughly $7.45. From there, it’s all about building your deck, climbing the PvP ladder, and earning points through in-game activities and ecosystem engagement.

Apeiron is steadily evolving with each season, and Season 7 marks another step toward its vision of a full-featured web3 strategy game. With deeper systems, more rewarding gameplay, and fresh ways to compete, there’s never been a better time to dive back in.
