First, What is Apeiron?

Apeiron is described as the world's first NFT-based god game running on the Ronin blockchain. It features a unique rogue-lite dungeon card-battler combined with god game simulation gameplay inspired by classic god games like Populous and Black & White.

Apeiron is being developed by a team of 60 Hong Kong developers with their prototype generating one of the largest single-game seed fundings in web3 from investors including Hashed, IVC, Morningstar Ventures, Spartan Group, and DeFiance. To date, Apeiron has raised $24 million, including a recent $13.5 million seed round.

1st Summer Sprint Leaderboard Announcement

Following the AGW Leaderboard, the 1st Summer Sprint Leaderboard commenced on July 2 and will run until July 20. Although the $ANIMA boost is no longer available, players can still earn battle-vested + NFT $ANIMA per win and gain extra rewards by climbing the leaderboard.

AGW Invitational Format Vote Result

The community recently voted on the format for the AGW Invitational, with the chosen format being Option 2: Tourney + League. The event details are as follows:

Tournament: The top 16 guilds per region from the AGW Leaderboard will compete.

• Dates: July 10-14 for SEA and July 17-21 for NA.

• Format: Double elimination, best of 5 matches.

• Elimination: 4 guilds per region will be eliminated.

• Grand Finals: The top 2 guilds per region will advance to a live event.

League: The remaining 12 guilds will compete for rewards.

• Start Dates: July 23 for SEA and July 30 for NA.

• Matches: Representatives from each guild will compete, with 3 match days per week, alternating between regions.

Player Survey and New Facebook Page

Apeiron has launched a Facebook Page to share fun and engaging content. The team encourages the community to support by liking and commenting on posts. The Apeiron community team is conducting a player survey to gather feedback on the game. Participants who complete the survey by July 7 will receive 1000 Stardust and a chance to win a Golden Apostle Ticket. The survey will be open until next Tuesday.

Game Development Updates

Apeiron S3 brings significant enhancements to its PvE dungeon mode, catering to both seasoned players and newcomers. The dungeons have been restructured with three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard. Each level offers distinct challenges and rewards such as Unpurified Gold and Soul Gems. Higher difficulties provide opportunities to encounter more powerful Apostles, adding strategic depth to dungeon exploration. Please see the detailed outline below.

Refining the Dungeon

The game design team is refining the new PvE dungeon mechanics. Upcoming features include:

• Dungeon Escape System: Allows players to exit a dungeon mid-run without losing all rewards, though some special rewards will be forfeited.
• Team Apostle Replacement System: Enables players to replace team members at the cost of resetting their skill levels or experience gained during the run.

Fine-Tuning Avatars, Lore and New Skins

Preparations for the S3 beta release are ongoing, with updates to PvE dungeon rewards, replay mode fixes, Avatar Boons revisions, and the introduction of Fury skills. Currently, only Wisdom Avatars are available, but Fury Avatars are being polished for release.

The storyline and mission system will be integrated into the S3 release, offering players a complete narrative experience for the first time. Players can unlock story chapters by challenging dungeon bosses. The Spirit Core, the tiny soul-like character in the Cradle, will receive over 10 new skins in the S3 release. These new designs will allow players to better express their unique souls.

Joining Apeiron Season 3 is simple:

1. Download the Game: Available for free on the Epic Games Store, Apeiron allows players to create or log in to their account to begin playing.
2. Choose Your Avatar: Select from three Tempest Avatars - Fury, Fate, or Wisdom - each with unique abilities suited to different play styles.
3. Learn the Mechanics: Start with Fury to understand gameplay mechanics and experiment with skills as you progress.
