Age of Dino (AOD) will sunset its current games on 30 September 2025, with a final snapshot on 29 September.
Age of Dino (AOD) has announced that it will sunset its current games, Age of Dino and Dino Museum, on 30 September 2025 UTC. The decision follows years of activity across three servers, more than 30 Institute Wars, and numerous battles involving T-Rex units. Players will have a final opportunity to engage with the current games before the sunset, and top-ups will be halted following this announcement.

As part of the transition, AOD will implement a comprehensive snapshot period to record and recognize the contributions of all players. The final snapshot is scheduled for 29 September 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Every ROAR earned and every achievement unlocked within the games will be carried forward into the next phase of the ecosystem. This process is designed to ensure that all progress made by players is acknowledged and forms a foundation for the future of AOD.
The next chapter of AOD will expand into a broader web3-based ecosystem. In this new environment, every player action will contribute to the community and unlock additional levels of access and influence. The transition reflects a shift from the current game structure to a more integrated digital ecosystem where participation is recognized and rewarded.

The AOD development team has emphasized that the contributions of all players remain central to the game’s evolution. As the community moves into the new web3 ecosystem, the experiences and achievements from Age of Dino and Dino Museum will continue to have relevance. Players are encouraged to prepare for the upcoming changes and to consider the foundation they have built as they engage with the evolving platform.
