Gameplay and Features

Metarush is chaotic in the best way possible, combining platforming, battle royale, and obstacle course racing that keeps every round unpredictable. Each match throws players into a series of challenges, whether it’s racing to the finish line, dodging elimination traps, or trying to outlast opponents in survival mode. Players must navigate fast-paced movement mechanics, use power-ups strategically, and engage in combat with the Smash mechanic to knock rivals off the course.

But the challenge does not stop there. The maps are constantly shifting, introducing gravity changes, time distortions, and tricky obstacles that push reflexes and strategy to the limit. One moment players are sprinting through a straightforward track, and the next they are dealing with platforms that disappear beneath their feet. Only the sharpest, fastest, and most strategic players will reach the final round, where the competition is at its toughest.

Power-Ups and Combat Mechanics

In Metarush, power-ups play an important role in gaining an advantage during races and survival challenges. Players can collect various power-ups scattered across the course, such as speed boosts, double jumps, and defensive shields. However, only one power-up can be held at a time, requiring players to make strategic choices based on their current situation. Using the right power-up at the right moment can mean the difference between staying ahead in a race or getting knocked off the map by an opponent.

Combat also plays a part in the competition through the Smash mechanic, allowing players to attack and knock back their rivals. A well-timed Smash can send an opponent flying, disrupting their progress and creating an opportunity to take the lead. The effectiveness of a Smash is influenced by the opponent's Damage Meter, which increases as they take multiple hits. The higher their damage percentage, the more force they experience when hit, making it easier to push them off the course. This adds an extra layer of strategy, as players must decide when to engage in combat or focus on avoiding attacks to maintain their position.

Game Modes

Metarush features two primary game modes, each offering unique challenges:

• Dimensional Trials – A battle royale mode where players compete through multiple rounds of elimination challenges. The last player standing claims victory and rewards.
• Rift League – A point-based mode where players compete across all rounds without elimination. Points accumulate throughout the match, and the highest-scoring player wins.

Maps

• Race Maps – Players sprint through hazardous tracks, dodging obstacles and competing against others to reach the finish line first.
• Survival Maps – Players must avoid falling off, dodging hazards, and staying alive until the round ends.
• Final Maps – These serve as the ultimate showdown where the best players battle for victory.

NFTs and Blockchain

Metarush takes things up a notch by letting players own, trade, and upgrade their in-game assets instead of just grinding for cosmetics they can never really keep. The game features NFT character skins and accessories, allowing players to customize their look while also having the option to trade unique cosmetics. There are also Sigma Pods NFTs, which are basically in-game loot boxes packed with rewards that can be bought, sold, or opened for surprises.

Competitive players can join weekly tournaments where top performers on the leaderboard earn $MYRIA tokens and exclusive NFTs. For those looking to upgrade their collection, the NFT merging system lets players combine two NFTs to create rarer and more valuable items with added perks.
