MetaClash: Digital Avatars of Destruction, or just MetaClash: D.A.D., throws players into a gritty sci-fi world where battles are fought with fully customized combat vehicles. It’s a multiplayer game that leans into fast-paced, team-based multiplayer action, with each player piloting their own D.A.D. into chaotic arena fights. At its core, the game is about building a machine that fits your style, teaming up with others, and doing your best to come out on top.

Game Lore

MetaClash is set in a fractured metaverse where civilization has broken down, leaving behind powerful machines and remnants of advanced technology. The world players step into is chaotic, with different factions battling for dominance in the ruins of a once-connected digital space.

Gameplay and Features

MetaClash centers around building and battling with D.A.D. vehicles. These machines are made up of different parts that players can swap, upgrade, and customize to match their playstyle. There are five main components that make up each D.A.D.: the chassis, mobility system, melee weapon, main weapon, and sub weapon. Each part affects your performance in the arena, from how fast you move to how much damage you can take or deal.

The chassis determines your vehicle's overall health and armor. Light chassis types are faster but weaker, while heavy ones can take more hits but sacrifice speed. Mobility parts like wheels, treads, or spider legs influence movement and acceleration. Weapons are split into melee, main, and sub categories, with different functions depending on where they’re mounted and how you want to approach combat. Some weapons are better up close, while others give you more range or strategic options.

The game includes several key stats like health points, speed, power, skid (which impacts handling), and defense. These stats help differentiate vehicle builds and give players room to experiment with different setups. In addition to the vehicle itself, players can equip war drones that come with active abilities. Each player can bring two abilities into a match, chosen from three classes: offensive, defensive, or support. This adds an extra layer of strategy, letting you adjust your tactics depending on the match or your team’s needs.

Game modes currently include Team Deathmatch and Escort the Cargo. In Team Deathmatch, it’s all about taking down the enemy team. Escort the Cargo is more objective-focused, where one side tries to move a payload while the other defends. More modes are expected in future updates, alongside features like ranked play, progression systems, and practice/tutorial areas for new players.

The gameplay feels like a mix between arena shooters and vehicle combat games, with a heavier emphasis on build customization than most titles in the genre. The developers are also planning to introduce faction-based mechanics and large-scale events that reflect player progress and decisions over time.

NFTs and Blockchain

MetaClash has web3 features built in, but they’re completely optional. You don’t need a wallet or any crypto knowledge to jump in and play. It’s free-to-play by default, so if you're just here for the action, you won’t miss out. That said, if you're into web3 or curious about digital ownership, there’s more to explore under the hood.

The game runs on Soneium, a blockchain that uses a proof-of-stake system, which helps keep things energy-efficient and fast. MetaClash’s in-game economy is partially powered by $PCORE, a token players can earn, spend, or even stake for rewards, progression boosts, and special event access. There’s also a traditional in-game currency, so you’re never forced into the crypto side if that’s not your thing. If you do decide to mint your gear, items like vehicle parts and war drones can be turned into NFTs. This means you can truly own what you earn and even trade it if you want. The game also features Genesis D.A.D. NFTs, which come with extra perks like staking options and early access to content.

How to Get Started

MetaClash is still in its alpha stage of development, so the full experience is still being shaped. You can wishlist the game on the Epic Games Store to stay in the loop for updates and upcoming tests. And if you're looking to get more involved in the ecosystem early on, you might want to check out the NFTs, which offer some in-game perks and a way to be part of the game’s future.
