Overview
Welcome to Lumiterra! This MMORPG drops you into a massive world packed with adventure and strategic gameplay. Using web3 technology, Lumiterra makes sure you have a fun and rewarding experience, whether you're fighting enemies, exploring diverse landscapes, crafting unique items, or running your own farm. The project introduced itself through a browser-based MegaDrop campaign that let players start progression early. In 2025, the game shifted into Mainnet Beta on its own app chain built using Arbitrum Orbit (L3). A previous Close Beta was hosted on Ronin, and the team later announced a partnership with Monad, focused on AI agent systems and technical expansion. Lumiterra’s current live environment remains on its L3 app chain, with stable and low-fee in-game settlement using LUAUSD.
Gameplay and Features
The combat system in Lumiterra is real-time and action-packed. You'll need to master various skills and strategies to defeat a range of enemies. The world is vast, with numerous dungeons, hidden caves, and ancient ruins waiting to be explored. Each area presents unique challenges and rewards, encouraging players to explore every corner of the map.

Monsters in Lumiterra aren’t just enemies; they can become loyal teammates. Once you capture them, they assist you in various activities like farming, collecting resources, and fighting. Their behavior is influenced by their traits and the scenario. For instance, they might rescue you if you fall in battle. All actions involving monsters consume the player’s energy, adding a layer of strategy to how you use them.

Equipping your monsters with the right gear is crucial for maximizing their effectiveness. You can provide them with powerful weapons, farming tools, and collecting materials. Don’t forget to feed your monsters to keep them healthy and ready for action. One of the unique features in Lumiterra is the ability to turn your monsters into eggs. These eggs can be hatched into new monsters or traded with other players.
In Lumiterra, leveling up is all about picking your path and mastering your skills. You can dive into combat, agriculture, or gathering, each with its own perks. Earn experience points (EXP) by smashing monsters, harvesting crops, or tending livestock, then spend that EXP to level up and get better at what you do. Higher levels mean you can grab rarer loot and be more efficient in your tasks.

Crafting and farming are integral parts of Lumiterra. Players can gather resources from the environment or by defeating monsters to obtain rare materials. These materials are used to craft weapons, armor, and other essential items. Farming allows players to grow crops and raise animals, providing a steady supply of food and materials.

Quests in Lumiterra are diverse and offer a variety of challenges and rewards. Players can engage in token tasks, which provide tokens and experience points, daily tasks that reset every day with valuable game items as rewards, and Exp tasks that require submitting game items for experience points. Alongside these, the main storyline and numerous side quests enrich the narrative and gameplay, featuring activities like monster slaying, crop planting, boss battles, and resource gathering.

NFTs and Web3
Lumiterra uses Web3 features as the foundation for ownership, trading, and economic settlement. The game currently operates on its own app chain built with Arbitrum Orbit (L3) for the Mainnet Beta. All in-game transactions settle through LUAUSD, the game’s dollar-pegged unit that supports stable pricing across player markets. Players who want to move assets in and out of the ecosystem can use the Lumi bridge, which is a modified Arbitrum bridge, with available liquidity pools on Curve for ease of transfer.
A previous Close Beta ran on Ronin, which is no longer the active network. In 2025, the team also announced a partnership with Monad, focusing on AI agent systems and infrastructure research. This partnership expands the technical direction of the project but does not replace the current L3 chain where the game is live.
Lumi Finance adds a DeFi twist to Lumiterra. By staking LUA tokens, you can mint a stablecoin called LUAUSD, which you use in the game. This system operates on the Arbitrum chain, offering ways to invest and earn rewards. It’s designed to be stable and valuable over the long term, ensuring that your in-game earnings and investments are safe.
Latest Game Updates (2025)
Lumiterra spent 2025 running on two tracks. The core game stack stayed on its own Arbitrum Orbit L3 app chain during the “Mainnet Beta,” with on-chain settlement in LUAUSD, bridging via the Lumi bridge, and liquidity routed through its Curve pool. The team also published fresh Beta 2 notes covering crafting and progression changes, signaling where balance is heading next.
In August, Lumiterra expanded testing to the Monad ecosystem with a timed Early Access campaign tied to LUMONAD Converge. That push introduced AI companions, themed cosmetics, testnet access, and ongoing quest ladders, including a leaderboard event with a 50K MON prize pool that continued into September.
How to Get Started
Lumiterra is not fully open to the public yet. The game is currently in a Mainnet Beta phase running on Lumiterra’s own L3 chain built with Arbitrum Orbit, and access may still require an invite or beta eligibility. Some players gained access through the earlier Closed Beta on Ronin, but that phase has ended and Ronin is no longer the live network.
If you’re interested in playing, the best starting point is to join the official Discord and sign up for beta access waitlisting. Playtests are opened in waves, and players who are active in the community, participate in feedback cycles, or take part in partner campaigns are usually among the first to be invited. When your account becomes eligible, you’ll receive download instructions for the current client.
