Overview

LOL Land is a browser-based multiplayer board game developed by Yield Guild Games through its publishing arm, YGG Play. Players roll dice to navigate themed boards, earning points, digital collectibles, and token rewards along the way. It features light, casual mechanics with optional progression through character NFTs and token-based systems. The game features characters from the Pudgy Penguins community and operates exclusively on the Abstract Chain platform.

Gameplay and Features

LOL Land centers around a familiar dice-rolling system, similar to classic board games like Monopoly. On each turn, players roll to move between 2 to 12 tiles across a themed game board. Depending on where they land, players can earn points, in-game rewards, or NFTs, depending on the selected game mode. Rolling past the “LOL” tile resets the board layout with a new set of tiles, adding variety to each round. One of the main ways to win is by landing on the same symbol two or more times in a row, which results in bonus rewards. Before the game begins, players also select a multiplier that can boost the value of their rewards for each roll.

Game Modes

LOL Land has two modes with distinct rules and reward systems:

• Free Mode: No wallet or NFTs needed. You can roll dice, collect points, and play all available boards. However, you won’t be eligible to earn $YGG tokens. Free Mode includes daily rewards and access to a store for additional rolls.
• Premium Mode: Requires a connected crypto wallet and unlocks token rewards. Players can earn and redeem $YGG tokens by accumulating points. Premium rolls can be purchased or earned, and gameplay includes access to NFT-based features and character perks.

Switching between modes is possible, but progress like points and rolls are tracked separately per mode.

NFTs and Blockchain

LOL Land integrates optional NFT features that enhance gameplay without being required for participation. Each themed board is linked to specific character NFTs, which unlock access to Premium Mode and allow players to earn token-based rewards.

These NFTs can be minted using vouchers, and higher rarity characters offer increased multipliers and future benefits such as VIP points. While Free Mode allows players to enjoy the core game loop with daily rewards and roll-based progression, Premium Mode introduces the ability to redeem points for $YGG tokens when a wallet is connected.

How to Get Started

1. Go to LOL land website and sign up with your email.
2. Connect your wallet (optional, required for Premium Mode).
3. Pick one of the available boards, choose your multiplier and hit the roll button to start playing.
4. You can share your referral link to earn additional rewards when friends join.
