Kaiju Cards is a tactical roguelite deckbuilder created by Permadeath Studios and powered by TreasureDAO. Set in the enchanting land of Good Earth, players collect Kaiju, form 3-character parties, and embark on an adventure to save the world from the evil Lich Lord. With unique classes, powerful synergies, and rare items, Kaiju Cards offers an immersive and engaging gameplay experience.

Permadeath Studios is a Los Angeles-based gaming and entertainment studio built by veterans of renowned networks like Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Disney TV, Cartoon Network, and Netflix. Their mission is to create memorable gameplay and timeless entertainment, with Kaiju Cards being the first step in their ambitious plans for their flagship IP.

Gameplay

A Tactical Roguelite Deckbuilder

Kaiju Cards combines the elements of roguelite and deckbuilding to create a unique and strategic gameplay experience. Players build their party, battle through dungeons, and earn legendary rewards, all while crafting the ultimate deck to defeat the Lich Lord.

Characters and Classes

Kaiju Cards introduces three distinctive Kaiju species: Penguins, Warhogs, and Frogs. These species are further categorized into three classes: Knights, Wizards, and Rogues. Each Kaiju comes with its own deck of cards, limited Pioneer cosmetics, varied stats, and class passives.

• Penguins: Tools of the Pacific Ocean, they can be Wizards or Rogues.
• Frogs: Tools of ponds and swamps, they can be Knights or Rogues.
• Warhogs: Tools of deserts and plains, they can be Knights or Wizards.

Factions and Synergies

Each character class in Kaiju Cards has a distinct card pool and contributes uniquely to the party. Knights are well-rounded bruisers, Rogues are glass cannons, and Wizards are effective force multipliers. Experimenting with different combinations unlocks powerful synergies and exciting new strategies.
