FIFA Rivals has officially launched—and it couldn’t have come at a better time with the World Cup hype heating up. Whether you’ve been grinding since early access or just jumped in at launch, you might’ve heard that the player cards you’re using aren’t just in-game avatars—they can actually be minted as tradeable assets (NFTs). If that caught your attention, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.
Before you can mint anything, secure your account by first linking your Mythical Marketplace account to your game profile. If you don’t have a Mythical account yet, it’s free and easy to sign up.
Here’s how to link it:
Once that’s done, you’re set. Any minted player cards will now show up in your Mythical Marketplace inventory, where they’ll be tradeable with other players.
If you’ve been opening packs and playing matches, you’ve already seen them in action—but let’s break it down. Player cards are basically your squad’s avatars in FIFA Rivals. Each card represents a real football player and comes with its own gameplay stats like Dribbling, Power, Speed, and more. These stats directly affect how your team performs on the pitch.
Cards also come in different rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The higher the rarity, the better the base stats—and usually, the bigger the name on the card. Legendary cards, for example, often feature top-tier players with way better starting stats than your average pull.
So, how do you actually turn your player card into a tradeable NFT? The process is pretty straightforward, but there are a couple of requirements to do it. To mint a card, you need:
You don’t level up cards just by scoring goals or winning matches. Instead, you’ll need duplicate copies of the same player card. These usually come from opening more packs. Think of it like fusing your extras to power up your best cards.
Missing a few copies? No problem. You can use a special currency called Wild Cards to fill in the gaps. Once you’ve got the required amount of dupes (or Wild Cards), hit that “Level Up” button.
But heads up—leveling up also costs Cash (the in-game soft currency), and each level gets pricier. The higher you go, the more dupes, Wild Cards, and Cash you’ll need. So if you’re aiming for 5 stars, be ready to stock up and grind a little. Just keep repeating the process until your player card hits Level 5, the point where it becomes mint-ready.
Once you’ve got a max-level card, you’ll see a “Transform” button pop up. That’s your gateway to minting. To mint the card, you’ll need to spend a Voucher—this is the item that turns your in-game card into a real, tradeable NFT. You can get Vouchers by:
Once you’ve got a Voucher and hit Transform, that’s it—your card is now officially minted and ready to be traded on the Mythical Marketplace.
Nice. You’ve officially minted your player card. It should now be sitting in your Mythical Marketplace inventory, ready to be listed, sold, or traded. It’s no longer just part of your squad—it’s a digital asset you fully own, and yes, you can turn it into real cash.
Not sure how to list it or where the money part comes in? Don’t worry, we’ve got you. Head over to the next guide: How to Sell and Cash Out FIFA Rivals Player Cards on the Mythical Marketplace.
