Players take on the roles of pioneers, exploring uncharted land and setting up essential infrastructure like mines, farms, sawmills, and banks. Eureka's game engine, powered by AI, creates a realistic world. Players travel across the continent at old-world speeds, navigating forests, mountains, and rivers. The game’s visuals are AI-generated, providing an immersive experience. Players simply instruct their characters, who then carry out tasks autonomously, whether it’s exploring new territories or managing a business.

Character Development and Skills

Every character in Eureka starts at level 1, identical except for their name and picture. As players engage in various activities, their characters develop unique skills and abilities. For instance, a scout who frequently traverses steep terrain becomes more surefooted, while a mining foreman gets better at preventing fires and collapses. This dynamic progression system ensures that each character's abilities reflect the player's choices.

NFTs and Blockchain

Eureka has a unique take on their NFTs. Players can mint their in-game properties, like businesses and characters, as NFTs. These NFTs can be withdrawn from the game, traded, and later re-deposited, ensuring the asset's continued development and value. This hybrid system lets players engage with the game without needing cryptocurrency, while still benefiting from the flexibility and security of web3

Eureka's NFTs are unique because their value and rarity are determined by the player's actions. As characters and businesses improve, their NFTs become more valuable. This merit-based system creates a bell curve of rarity, with the most dedicated players owning the rarest and most powerful assets. Players can also hire out their high-level characters, allowing others to benefit from their developed skills while continuing to gain experience. Eureka's NFT system ensures that in-game properties are always in sync with their NFT counterparts. When a player withdraws a property as an NFT, the in-game version is frozen. This system allows for continuous updates and adaptability, ensuring Eureka remains future-proof against advancing blockchain technologies. On the other hand, "Gold Nuggets" are the lifeblood of Eureka, serving as the game's only currency. These valuable resources are mostly buried underground, requiring players to dig for them. Gold Nuggets can be minted into $EURAK tokens, which can then be melted back into Gold Nuggets.

How to Get Started

Eureka is still under development, but you can join its ecosystem now by signing up as a Eureka citizen at Eureka Citizens. After signing up, you will be logged in and can start collecting Gold Nuggets, the main in-game currency of Eureka. Gold Nuggets are also used to bid (via the auction house) on the upcoming Eureka Ship and Survival Pack NFTs.
