Overview

Ember Sword is one of the most beautifully artistic games in the web3 gaming world at the moment. The Bright Star Studio is developing an expansive MMORPG with tons of focus on the social aspect before anything else. The game gives off this sensation from the moment you look at it, with a lot of similarities in their vision with The Treeverse.

Ember Sword takes place on the moon of Thanabus is split into 4 Nations: Solarwood, Duskeron, Edisau and Sevrend. Each nation consists of 3 types of territories: Kingship, Wilderness, and Outlaw. Kingship territories will be reserved for PvE, resource collection, NPC interactions, bosses and quests. These territories will be governed by our thriving community, spread over a vast, evolving landscape. Wilderness territories will primarily be PvE areas.

One of the major unique points of Ember Sword is how it adopts a classless approach. Similar to Mirandus, the game allows you to choose the path you want. Whether it is being a trader, forage rare resource, or become the town's ultimate warrior, all of them are options available for you to choose from. Not only that, it allows players to combine their own unique set of usable abilities unlocked by using a vast variety of weapons.

Gameplay and Features

Ember Sword lets players break free from traditional class restrictions, allowing them to shape their own playstyle by choosing different weapons and abilities. Whether you prefer solo adventures or battling alongside friends, the game offers both PvE and PvP combat that changes based on your actions, making every encounter feel fresh and exciting. The world of Ember Sword evolves constantly, with players able to own and develop land into bustling marketplaces, guild hubs, or social spaces, leaving a real impact on the in-game economy and community. Everything in the economy is player-driven, with resources being gathered, crafted, and traded among players, creating a lively and interconnected marketplace.

Gears and Weapons

There are three planned weapon types; melee, ranged, and energy. Within each type, there will be a variety of different weapons, like 1-handed swords, two-handed swords etc. for melee, and likewise for ranged and energy weapons. The more you use each weapon type, the more you will level it up, which unlocks new abilities as you progress throughout the game.

On top of weapons, there are tons of gear for your Ember Sword character to choose from. The game makes it incredibly difficult to choose one and just stick to it as each piece of gear gives you advantages in certain situations depending on the type of enemy or region you are in.

There will be 3 types of armor: Heavy (plate), Medium (leather), and Light (cloth), and you will be able to mix and match these different sets to fit your preferred play style. Each armor type will provide a bonus appropriate to that particular type.
