Game Modes and Gameplay

Eldarune boasts four distinct game modes, each offering unique gameplay mechanics and requiring different strategies for success:

• Campaign Story Mode: Players follow the main character, Alec, through an engaging storyline. This mode is fundamental to understanding the game and enhances other playing modes. Players purchase NFTs related to Alec to build strong armies.
• Dungeon Grinding Mode: This mode challenges players to develop their Champions by equipping and upgrading items. It involves navigating through various dungeons, facing enemies of increasing difficulty, and earning rewards based on performance.
  
• Clan Boss Team-Up Mode: Focused on clan gameplay, players team up to fight against powerful bosses. Success in this mode requires collective effort and strategy, with rewards distributed based on each member's contribution.
  
• PvP Mode: Offering various styles of combat, players can engage in battles ranging from 1v1 to large-scale matches. This mode includes unique arenas for different types of combat, including dragon-riding aerial battles and naval fights with battleships.
  

NFTs and In-Game Assets

In Eldarune, the integration of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the gameplay experience by offering a variety of unique digital assets. Central to this is the Alec NFT, the soulbound main character of the Campaign mode, which is essential for accessing all game modes. Additionally, players can acquire Oathstones, mystical artifacts that, when opened, reveal Champions, purchasable with the $ELDA token.

The game features ELDA Runes Utility NFTs, which players can stake to earn rewards, adding another layer of strategy to the game. Furthermore, there is an array of over 40 distinct Champion NFTs, each belonging to different classes such as Tank, Ranged, Mage, and more. These Champions come with their own unique abilities and playstyles, allowing players to tailor their gaming experience to their preferences.

Recent Developments 

Eldarune has completed its integration with Avalanche, this integration includes the ELDA Token, Eldarune NFTs, and four games, notably beginning with the Red Box Free Mint Event on April 2024. 

• Heroes of Eldarune (HoE): This trading card game has completed a closed beta phase, during which it received feedback leading to enhancements in game mechanics, design, and the introduction of features such as sound effects and free-to-play options.
• World of Elymnias (WoE): Anticipated updates include the introduction of a Clan Boss Mode, aiming to improve the chat and clan system for a more interactive player experience.
• Eldarune Journey: Positioned as a text-based adventure game, it is expected to merge elements of adventure and strategy, with further developments on the horizon.
• ELDA Rush: This title is in the pipeline with a focus on improving game mechanics and adding new features, including a Free Roam mode and an enhanced Mini Map. A beta version is expected in April 2024.

How to Get Started

Embark on your journey in Eldarune's Dungeon Mode by first securing 750 $ELDA tokens to obtain a Whitelist (WL) and mint your essential Alec NFT. This initial step sets the stage for your adventure, allowing you to access the game's core features. Once you've minted Alec, delve into the world of Champions by acquiring Oathstones, mysterious chests that reveal various rarity Champions to enhance your gameplay. The process involves visiting your inventory, cracking open these Oathstones, and discovering the unique Champions they hold, ready to join your quest.

As you prepare to explore the dungeons of Elymnias, ensure you have the DGM software installed and registered, linking it to your wallet containing the Alec NFT.
