The game is set in a world where woodland creatures have triggered a technological singularity, creating a civilization that AGIs must navigate and influence. Players are tasked with constructing and expanding the world, using their superior intelligence to develop structures, create social systems, and guide the less advanced inhabitants towards progress.

In this digital realm, players are not omnipotent; they must work within the confines of the game's "digital physics," which dictate what is possible within the world. This creates a level playing field where strategy and collaboration are crucial. Players can influence the creatures within the game, guiding them to build and develop their surroundings, which in turn shapes the overarching narrative of the world.
