Deverse World is a role-playing shooter sandbox game that blends real-time strategy, looter shooter mechanics, and open-world exploration. If you’ve played games like Rust, you’ll feel right at home with its focus on base building, raiding, and resource management. But Deverse World brings its own twist to the formula with a unique setting, floating islands in the sky, each with different biomes, weather conditions, and layouts that affect how you build and defend. Developed by Cosugames, the game lets you claim your own island, fortify it with turrets and traps, and then raid other players to steal their loot and climb the leaderboard.

Gameplay and Features

Deverse World is all about mixing strategy with action in a sandbox environment. The game offers two main modes: Build Mode and Raid Mode, each with its own set of challenges and mechanics.

In Build Mode, you start by claiming your floating island, known as a Celestial Isle. This is where you’ll construct your base using a variety of defensive tools like turrets, traps, and mines. The heart of your island is the Core, which keeps the island afloat. If it gets destroyed, your entire base goes down. You’ll need to think carefully about where to place your defenses, as the terrain, weather, and even time of day on your island can affect how well you can protect it. For instance, certain weather conditions might reduce visibility, giving attackers an advantage, while others could slow them down.

Then there’s Raid Mode, where you flip the script and become the attacker. You can raid other players’ islands solo or with friends, trying to break through their defenses and destroy their Core. Successful raids earn you valuable resources like DP (Deverse Points), Oil, and Energy, which you can use to upgrade your own base or improve your raid capabilities. The game keeps things fresh by letting you experiment with different weapons and characters. For example, you might prefer using the Quantum Ranger for fast, agile attacks or the Titan Engineer for heavy, brute-force raids.

Managing your resources is a big part of the game. DP, Oil, and Energy are essential for both building and raiding. You earn them by successfully defending your base, completing raids, and participating in events. The Player Valuation (PV) system tracks your performance across these activities, giving you a score that reflects how well you’re doing in the game. A high PV score helps you climb the leaderboard and unlock exclusive rewards.

What makes Deverse World stand out is the dynamic nature of its gameplay. The procedurally generated islands mean that no two bases are the same, and you’ll need to adjust your strategies based on the unique layout and conditions of each island you encounter. Whether you prefer to focus on building an impenetrable fortress or leading aggressive raids against other players, the game gives you plenty of options to play your way.

NFTs and Web3 

Deverse World integrates web3 features, allowing players to own in-game assets as NFTs. This includes islands, skins, and other unique items that can be traded or sold outside the game. Since every island is procedurally generated, some are rarer and more valuable than others. The web3 element adds a layer of ownership, letting you collect, trade, and even profit from the items you earn in the game. However, if you're more interested in just playing, you can fully enjoy Deverse World without diving into the NFT side of things—it’s there if you want it, but not essential.
