Overview

DeFi Kingdoms is a well-known DeFi play-to-earn (P2E) role-playing game with a medieval theme. The game’s charming pixelated characters spend their days exploring taverns, banks, and gardens. They continue to summon new Heroes throughout. These Heroes are utility-based NFTs that give players a competitive edge so they can win actual money while they gather resources and fight off enemies. The UniswapV2 Protocol, used by DFK, serves both traders and liquidity providers.

Hero NFTs

In DeFi Kingdoms, Hero NFTs go beyond being mere digital collectibles. They are fully-realized RPG characters, each equipped with unique stat blocks and consumable resources such as HP, MP, and Stamina. This innovative approach to NFTs brings a new level of engagement and interaction, making each Hero a key feature of the game.

Every Hero in DeFi Kingdoms is part of a comprehensive leveling system. As players navigate through the game, their Heroes grow and evolve, gaining strength and new abilities. Features of DeFi Kingdoms

Summoning

The ability to summon is one of the game’s primary features. By fusing the genes of two already existing heroes, one can summon heroes by going to the Arch Druid at the dimension portal. It can be profitable to create a Hero that is extremely uncommon and valuable if it is traded. Here, heroes use “Gaia’s Tears” and gems to feed a summoning crystal. Heroes have additional summoning abilities, such as the ability to embark on quests to earn rewards and experience.

Locations

The game contains a number of important places. Each accomplishes a significant function:

• Marketplace: trade coins and make purchases
• Bank: risk-free coin staking
• Garden: pool tokens
• Tavern: buy, sell, rent NFT Heroes

Realms

Serendale

Defi Kingdoms is a cross-chain game that features a number of realms. Players have different opportunities in each realm (world). The first realm to be introduced on the Harmony network was Serendale 1. But in October 2022, it shut down and changed into an Outpost, enabling players to onboard bridge tokens from any chain into a realm of their choice. The JEWEL coin is used in this realm.

Crystalvale

The initial expansion called DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale, is located on the DFK Chain, a portion of the Avalanche subnet. The in-game currency in this universe is the CRYSTAL token. Additionally, new Hero classes are introduced in this world, and there is a brand-new digital environment to explore.

Recent Updates 

DeFi Kingdoms is constantly updating the game, adding new seasonal events and shipping regular patch updates to improve the experience. The most significant update recently is their partnership with the Metis L2 blockchain. This collaboration has introduced the "Colosseum" to the game, a new arena dedicated to player versus player (PvP) battles. With Metis, known for its advanced technology that enhances game performance and security, DeFi Kingdoms is taking a significant step forward. 

How to Get Started

Embark on your journey in DeFi Kingdoms by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Register for the MetaMask Wallet

To play DeFi Kingdoms, you'll need to register for a MetaMask wallet. MetaMask is a digital wallet that allows you to interact with the Ethereum blockchain and its compatible networks.

Step 2: Deposit Harmony One Tokens

Once you have your MetaMask wallet set up, deposit Harmony One tokens into it. These tokens will be used to cover gas costs for transactions within the game.

Step 3: Exchange Harmony One Tokens for JEWEL

Next, exchange your Harmony One tokens for the in-game currency, JEWEL. This currency is used for various transactions and activities within DeFi Kingdoms.

Step 4: Visit the DeFi Kingdoms Website

Go to the DeFi Kingdoms website and click on the "Start Playing" button. This will take you to the game interface.

Step 5: Create Your Character

Create a character by choosing a name and a profile image. This character will represent you in the game.
