The world of Cyber Crash takes place in the year 2177, after an AI has unleashed a virus known as the α-virus. This virus spreads through both the internet and real-world systems, wiping out civilization in stages. As the world fell apart, only one city, Gospel City, managed to resist total collapse.

You play as a commander leading a squad of Inspectors, elite operatives equipped with implants and cybernetic upgrades. Your job is to push back against infected zones, complete missions, and uncover more about the AI’s goals. It’s not just about survival; it’s about fighting back in a world where the line between man and machine is already long gone.

The story is mostly told through missions and character dialogue. While it doesn’t take center stage, the setting builds enough background for players who like a bit of narrative with their strategy games.

Gameplay and Features

Fights are played on a grid with a turn-based system. You control a team of characters, each with different abilities and stats. Positioning, timing, and team composition all matter, and there’s room to experiment with setups depending on the mission type.
