Land Gameplay

The core game and engine of the Crypto Unicorns ecosystem is the land gameplay, which is a complex strategy-based farming simulation. In this game, players manage their Lands to farm berries, gather resources, complete quests, craft items, and earn tokens. All future games in the Crypto Unicorns ecosystem will be built on top of the land gameplay, and all items required to play other games will be produced from the Land game.

Land NFTs are limited-edition digital assets that are a crucial component of the Crypto Unicorns Web3 game. Lands can be obtained from Hawku or Opensea marketplaces, or players can create new lands through the Land vending machine. There are nine different classes of lands and unicorns in the game, which include Heart, Cloud, Rainbow, Flower, Candy, Omnom, Moon, Crystal, and Star. Matching the same class of unicorns with your land class can significantly increase productivity and yields, making it highly recommended for players to use matching classes of unicorns on their lands.

The rarity of lands is divided into three categories: common, rare, and mythic. A common land can match with only one class, while a rare land can match with three types of classes. There are three types of rare lands, including Light (classes: Rainbow, Heart, Cloud), Mystery (classes: Star, Crystal, Moon), and Wonder (classes: Omnom, Candy, Flower). Mythic lands are the most expensive and best form of land, as they can match with all nine classes to maximize productivity.

Each land has a maximum of ten levels, and the level of a land determines the number of buildings that can be constructed on it. Level 1 lands can contain a maximum of five buildings, while level 10 lands can contain a maximum of ten buildings. Players can upgrade the level of their lands by upgrading the level of the buildings constructed on them. Buildings

1. Farm: The farm plot is used to plant seeds and farm berries on the land. To increase the berry output, a player can add a matching unicorn to the farm plot. Unlike other buildings, a player can build multiple farm plots on a single land. The level of a farm can be upgraded, resulting in two outcomes: berry output bonus and farming speed bonus. The berry output bonus varies from 1 to 6, and upgrading to level 2 and 4 is crucial for pro players. Adding a unicorn to a farm plot is optional, and both adult and baby unicorns can be used.
2. Workshop: The workshop is where a player can craft all kinds of items needed for upgrading buildings. Upgrading the workshop unlocks higher-tier materials for players to craft. Only adult unicorns can be used to craft materials, and baby unicorns cannot craft.
3. Cart: The cart is the main source of earning UNIM tokens and different types of seeds in the game. It is used to send unicorns to gather materials, and it is best to use a matching unicorn with matching class berries to increase the chance of getting the highest rewards from gathering carts. A unicorn can spend up to 24 hours on this trip. Upgrading the cart increases the rewards obtained from gathering. Only adult unicorns can be used in this building.
4. Quest: The quest building is used to complete quests in the game. Quests provide rewards such as materials, seeds, and UNIM tokens. Completing a quest can unlock a new quest or a new type of quest. The level of the quest building determines the level of the quest that a player can take. Both adult and baby unicorns can be used in this building.
5. Nursery: The nursery is used to breed baby unicorns. A player can breed two adult unicorns of the same class to produce a baby unicorn. The level of the nursery determines the level of the baby unicorns that can be produced. A player can have a maximum of three baby unicorns at a time. Only adult unicorns can be used in this building.
6. Stable: The Stable building in the game increases the number of unicorns that a player can utilize on their account. By default, a player can only use three unicorns at a time. Building and upgrading the Stable will increase this number, allowing players to utilize more unicorns in various activities. No unicorn is required to build or upgrade the Stable.

Buildings play a crucial role in the gameplay of Crypto Unicorns. A player can add up to 16 lands in one account, and placing a land attached to another supported class of land will give both lands a 5% Adjacency bonus. A player can get a maximum of 20% adjacency bonus by surrounding the land with matching classes. This bonus reduces the time required for farming, crafting, and gathering on that land.

The game features nine classes of unicorns, six of which are base classes, while the other three are hidden classes that can be derived by breeding two compatible base classes. Each class excels on specific stats, and unicorns have energy points based on their breeding points, which are required to perform game-related actions with the unicorn.

Rainbow Marketplace

The Rainbow Marketplace (RMP) is an innovative free market based on AMM technology and is the heart and blood of land gameplay. In this market, players can buy and sell different in-game commodities in exchange for RBW tokens. It is a PvP battlefield where spreadsheet warriors battle for arbitrage opportunities. It is important to note that unicorns are cute digital pets and collectible NFTs that serve as the gateway pass to unlock every game of Crypto Unicorn’s Ecosystem.

Purchasing on RMP requires RBW tokens in the player's game account. Players can transfer RBW tokens from their crypto wallet to their game account by selecting the "Sync Stash" option under the "Setting" icon on the top right corner of the screen. A new window will appear, allowing the player to send RBW or UNIM tokens from the Polygon chain to their game account.

Once RBW tokens are in the player's game account, they can seamlessly purchase commodity bundles from RMP without any waiting time. However, selling on RMP requires an adult unicorn, which takes 8 hours to sell.

To earn RBW and UNIM tokens, players can explore different strategies, such as farming berries, crafting materials, completing quests, and gathering. Farming berries involves buying seeds from RMP, producing berries on farm plots, and selling them for a profit. The more lands and farm plots with good berry bonus output a player has, the more efficient this strategy will be.

Crafting tier 2 materials such as milled wood planks and selling them on RMP can also yield a profit. The more unicorns a player has, the more efficient this strategy will be. Completing quests that require cheap materials as input and exchanging them for better RBW rewards is another strategy. The better stats unicorns a player has, the more efficient this strategy will be.

Gathering is the main source of earning UNIM tokens. Players send a matching class unicorn with matching class berries daily to get the best rewards. Gathering requires class berries and unicorns, and players who have enough unicorns to farm class berries will be successful in this strategy.

It is important to note that starting with just one land and two unicorns may make it difficult for players to compete against those who are more efficient. Increasing the number of unicorns or lands, or both, can make things more efficient and profitable in the land gameplay.

Recommended Crypto Unicorns Starter Pack

To begin playing Crypto Unicorns, it is recommended that a player acquires a starter pack consisting of five lands, including one rare land and four common lands of the same class. To optimize the cost of feeding unicorns, it is advised to choose a class with a low unicorn population. The RMP (Rainbow Market Place) is a great resource for finding which class has the lowest number of unicorns. Once a class has been identified, the player should purchase four common lands of that class and one rare land that is compatible with the same class.

It is worth noting that purchasing a pre-leveled land from the market can be advantageous for a player as it can save them time and resources in upgrading the land.

After obtaining the lands, the rare land should be placed in the center and the four common lands arranged around it. This configuration will give a 20% adjacency bonus to the rare land. The benefit of this setup is that the player can temporarily replace any common land with the rare land to give it an adjacency bonus before performing any action on that land.

In addition to the lands, it is recommended that the player acquires two baby unicorns of different base classes. Having diverse classes on an account has some benefits, such as unlocking different quests and bonuses.

For breeding and upgrading, the player should acquire Unim and RBW. It is advised that each land should have around 6-10 unicorns to make it self-sufficient for the player. The primary goal for the player should be to breed and increase the number of unicorns as soon as possible. The secondary goal should be to level up each land to level 6.
