The World of Chain Crisis

Once a beacon of modern Asia, now a battleground for control among megacorporations and slumlords. Navigate through a city that blends cutting-edge technology with perpetual crime, where bioengineering and cybernetic enhancements are the keys to power. Engage in thrilling combat using a mix of ranged and melee weapons. Utilize cyberdeck skills to outsmart enemies in a world full of danger and hidden secrets.

Gameplay and Features 

At its core, Chain Crisis is a third-person shooter with RPG mechanics, requiring skills and practice to excel in combat. Players can use various firearms and melee weapons to defeat enemies, with each weapon having its own strengths and weaknesses, offering a variety of options.

To enhance the basic third-person shooter experience, the game features a cyberware system that provides abilities to the characters. There are three types of cyberware: Cyberdeck, which provides cerebral abilities similar to magic in fantasy games; Cybermod, which offers passive abilities; and Cyberlimb, which grants physical abilities such as enhanced mobility. Players can enhance their characters with these cybernetic upgrades, unlocking new abilities and customizing their strengths to suit their playstyle.

Playstyles in Chain Crisis are divided into four character roles: Damagers, who have an aggressive playstyle and excel in boss fights; Defenders, who adopt a defensive playstyle, keeping teammates alive and enemies at bay; Hackers, who specialize in crowd control, managing mobs of enemies; and Scouts, who gather information and are ideal for strategic quests requiring stealth or precision.

Reputation-based Progression System

The game features a reputation-based progression system. When players complete quests for certain factions, they earn reputation points, which unlock new content. Completing quests accumulates favors with certain factions while antagonizing others. This progression system allows players to choose their own path in the game, shaping their experience based on their actions and choices.
