Welcome to Cat Town, an idle game where players build their own feline empire, combine floofs, and earn passive rewards. Powered by a self-sustaining in-game economy, the game allows you to buy cats, combine floofs to generate more cats, and earn ETH and $KIBBLE. With a balanced economy, your decisions can influence how you grow and engage with the game.

In Cat Town, the goal is simple: gather and grow your army of cats. Start by purchasing cats and watch them produce floofs. These floofs can be combined to create more cats or sold for ETH. The more cats you own, the higher your floof generation rate, which directly impacts your ETH and $KIBBLE rewards.

The game’s economy is designed to be sustainable, with each action, from buying cats to participating in minigames, playing a role in building the overall ecosystem. Explore different areas, engage in activities, and collect rewards that help fuel your growth within the town.

Gameplay and Features

In Cat Town, you’ll passively earn ETH as you grow your cat population, with the option to sell your floofs directly for ETH or combine them to increase your overall cat yield. The in-game currency, $KIBBLE, is earned through various activities and can be used to purchase cosmetics, in-game boosts, or even traded on the open market. This dynamic rewards system allows players to earn valuable assets as they progress.

The game also features a range of interactive town elements and minigames. Explore areas like the vibrant Town Square, where your cats can roam to unlock new activities and features. Engaging in minigames, such as the Gacha machine or the weekly fishing event, lets you contribute to the game’s economy while earning rewards like $KIBBLE and the chance to win rare items. These interactive elements add depth and variety to the gameplay, enhancing the overall experience in Cat Town.

Floof & Cat Management

Floofs are the core resource that drives the game’s economy. Each cat generates one floof per second, and you can combine 8,640,000 floofs to create a new cat, allowing you to expand your cat army and increase your ETH yield. The more floofs you accumulate, the more you can grow your in-game assets and earnings.

Cats are the primary source of income, as they generate floofs over time. You can purchase cats with ETH, and they will automatically produce floofs for you. While cats can’t currently be sold, the game plans to introduce an option for players to exit the economy by selling their cats in the future, with a tax applied to those transactions. This adds an additional layer of strategy to managing your in-game assets.

NFTs and Blockchain

Cat Town currently offers a single NFT collection called the Founder’s Collection, which features 777 exclusive Profile Picture (PFP) NFTs. These special PFPs unlock unique cosmetic items for your cats and come with extra perks. When the adventure system is released, these items will have even more utility. Aside from PFPs, NFTs also come in other forms, like cat items and mini-collectibles, which you can grab through in-game events or the Gacha machine.

How to get Started

Cat Town is currently in development, with some features already live and accessible to players. The game is playable in web, and players can engage with its core mechanics such as purchasing cats, generating floofs, and participating in minigames. However, new features, updates, and events (such as Adventures) are still being rolled out, and the game continues to evolve with additional content planned for future releases. There’s also an ongoing Play-to-Airdrop event where you can earn $KIBBLE by completing social and in-game tasks, available until December 22nd.
