The arena allows players to challenge each other in public matches, where they can wager Arena Tokens or Blast ETH. The stakes are high, and the winner takes everything, making each duel a thrilling test of skill and strategy.

Gameplay and Features

Cambria Duel Arena offers a straightforward yet challenging combat system where players negotiate the terms of their duels. These terms include the type of duel they want to engage in, which determines the weapons they can use. Once the stakes are set, players are transported to the arena to face off against each other. Combat requires quick thinking and precise execution, with players needing to outmaneuver and outlast their opponents.

The Duel Arena offers various Duel Types that players can choose from, each with its own level of difficulty based on the weapons available. Whether opting for the Greataxe or the more complex combination of Whip and Dragonsteel Dagger, each duel requires players to adapt their strategies to succeed. Combat also involves switching between different stances, Accurate, Aggressive, and Defensive, each affecting a player’s performance during the fight. For some duel types, players can also use special attacks, adding an extra layer of strategy to the combat.

Wagering is a core part of the Duel Arena experience. Players can place bets using Arena Tokens or Blast ETH, with the winner taking the pot after a small fee is deducted. This fee is then distributed across several in-game features, including the Excalibur pool and various incentive programs like Cashout Friday.

NFTs and Blockchain

Cambria Duel Arena (currently running on the Blast blockchain) is an on-chain game, primarily through the use of Arena Tokens. These tokens serve as the in-game currency and can be used to buy items from the Arena Shop, such as chests, emotes, and rare collectibles. In future updates, some of these items, particularly the rare ones, will be minted as NFTs, allowing players to own and trade their assets securely.

Blast ETH is another key element in the game, used for high-stakes wagers within the arena. Players need to bridge their ETH to the Blast network to participate, ensuring that all transactions are fast and secure. 

How to Get Started

Getting started in Cambria Duel Arena involves a few steps. First, you'll need to connect your wallet to the game's lobby website and ensure you have ETH on the Blast network. You can do this by bridging your ETH through services like Orbiter Finance or transferring it from Coinbase to Base, and then to Blast. Once your ETH is on the Blast network, you’re ready to enter the arena. From there, you can start placing wagers, earning Arena Tokens, and accumulating Essence Points, which contribute to your progress in the game.
