BOSS FIGHTERS is entering a new era in 2025 with major updates to both gameplay and its web3 ecosystem. The team has officially announced its departure from the Open Loot platform, with all assets and balances migrating to new systems between October 4 and November 4, 2025. After the final snapshot, players will continue their journey exclusively on Steam and Meta Quest, ensuring smoother performance and wider accessibility. Alongside this shift, the game’s token economy was overhauled with the launch of $BFTOKEN, a fully gameplay-earned currency used for crafting, upgrading NFTs, and entering high-stakes modes.
Season 3 also introduces a reworked High Stakes Mode featuring performance-based payouts and a new Badge Slot Locking System, designed to balance rewards and competition.
