Overview

Blade of God X is an Action-RPG, drawing inspiration from the dark, rich lore of Nordic mythology. Developed by Void Labs and brought to market by PGSoul Games, this game is presented as the sequel to the Blade of God series. It aims to cater to a diverse audience by being accessible across multiple platforms, including PC, Android, and iOS.

The game seeks to blend the traditional elements of role-playing games with innovative gameplay mechanics, offering players an engaging narrative intertwined with challenging gameplay elements. Blade of God X is distinguished by its boss battles, cooperative gameplay, and online multiplayer options, promising a comprehensive gaming experience that appeals to both solo and social players.

Game Lore

Blade of God X lore is centered around the players taking the role of an "Inheritor," a protagonist reborn amidst the sagas of Norse gods and mythical landscapes. This character's journey is about the adventure of taking on the world of Norse gods and making pivotal decisions that affect both the world and their personal narrative. Players navigate through diverse realms such as Muspelheim and areas around the World Tree, making choices that lead to "Sacrifice" or "Redemption."

Gameplay and Features

The combat system in Blade of God X revolves around a combination of movement and attack skills, where players utilize basic attacks and can connect up to four abilities in skill chains for greater damage at the expense of stamina. Players can also perform strategic dodges and break skills, allowing them to retreat or interrupt enemy attacks. Once the energy bar is full, they can unleash a powerful Awakening Skill to deal significant damage.

The Soul Core system introduces a novel approach to character abilities, where players can incorporate the essences of defeated monsters into their skill chains. This system promotes a high degree of customization and strategic gameplay, enabling players to tailor their combat style to their preferences.

One of the standout features in the game is the integration of AI Agents, which assist players in battles, gather rewards, and train based on the player’s style. These agents evolve through DNA attributes, such as Neural Reflexes and Offensive Inclination, further enhancing their capabilities. Players can choose between manual or auto-training to improve their AI Agents' performance.

Blade of God X also emphasizes multiplayer cooperation and competition, encouraging players to engage in battles collaboratively or vie for rewards in player-versus-player (PvP) settings. The game supports forming or joining Caravans, facilitating a communal gaming experience alongside the traditional solo adventure.

NFTs and Blockchain

There is currently. two notable NFTs within the game include the BOGX Genesis - Orisols, which offer early adopters exclusive benefits such as faster token unlocking, enhanced AI Agent abilities, and unique visual upgrades for characters. Additionally, the Soul Card NFTs are mintable assets that players can create using in-game resources, offering significant boosts to combat abilities and strategic depth.
