Prestige Portals are unique gateways in Big Time that offer enhanced drop rates for various in-game items like Time Crystals, $BIGTIME Tokens, Cosmetic Shards, Bonus Roll Chips, and Cosmetic Collectibles.

To gain access to a Prestige Portal, players must fulfill certain prerequisites. This includes meeting specific Cosmetic Collectible criteria, which can range from the rarity, theme, source, season, or even the color of the collectible. For instance, one might need to don a "Viking" themed attire or equip items of a distinct "Blue" hue. Additionally, an entry fee is sometimes required, which could be in the form of $BIGTIME Tokens or Time Crystals, although some portals might waive this fee.

What sets Prestige Portals apart are the unique modifiers they come equipped with. These modifiers can either influence the gameplay dynamics or impact the drop rates of cosmetic economy items. On the gameplay front, these modifiers can tweak the in-game challenges, making them either more daunting or a tad bit easier. On the cosmetic economy side, they can affect the drop rates of coveted items like Time Crystals or $BIGTIME Tokens.

However, it's crucial for Big Time players to understand that Prestige Portals are not about power acquisition. Their main allure lies in the cosmetic items they offer. Each Prestige Portal boasts two types of modifier slots. The first is the "Preselected Slots," which are set in stone and cannot be altered. Interestingly, not all these slots might be occupied, making certain Prestige Portals potentially more lucrative. The second type is the "Bonus Roll Slots." These are flexible and can be set by players using Bonus Rolls, with the number of available slots varying across portals.

Before stepping into a Big Time Prestige Portal, players have the opportunity to optimize their rewards using Bonus Rolls. This allows them to secure specific mod bonuses, striving to populate all slots with the most advantageous portal mods. However, as players lock in more slots, the cost for bonus rolling incrementally rises.

It's worth noting the distinction between Regular and Prestige Portals. While the latter emphasizes cosmetic items, the former is tailored towards power items. Players can also enhance their Regular Portal experience using bonus rolls, but this requires a special currency that can be found as monster drops.

In essence, the Prestige Portal in Big Time offers a rich tapestry of challenges and rewards, allowing players to customize their journey while hunting for exclusive cosmetic treasures.
