The Red Village is a dark-fantasy Play-and-Earn blockchain game. A multiplayer bloodsport fighting tournament with NFT Champions and an immersive ecosystem.
The Red Village is a virtual world of dark fantasy and intense action. It is ruled by the malevolent Blood Queen, who holds deadly fighting tournaments and shows no regard for life. Warriors from all over come to compete in front of the Blood Queen in hopes of winning her favor and riches. The Blood Queen reigns over the village and the Darklands beyond. She is driven by a thirst for blood and a love of violence.
She is neither dead nor alive, neither human nor demon, and comes from the Eighth Realm. She is powerful, captivating, and terrifying, and attracts the fiercest warriors from across the globe with promises of an endless life and unimaginable wealth in exchange for their service. None of them refuse. The warriors who are doomed to fight in the village are known as Champions. They are not allowed to leave the village and are destined to fight, bleed, and die repeatedly for all eternity. They are traded among powerful Battlemasters who take care of them, train them, and submit them to tournaments. They are rewarded with riches for their victories and punished with endless suffering in defeat.
The different character classes in The Red Village are made up of various breeds: Highborns, Nordics, Half-Dwarfs, Elves, Orcs, Origin, The Ethereal, and The Undead. Each Champion is unique and has its own name, skills, attributes, and characteristics. Each Bloodline has a breed that is exclusive to it; for the Genesis Bloodline, it is The Undead, and for the Mystics, it is The Ethereal. More breeds will be introduced in future updates for the Warlords and Lionhearts.
There will only be a total of 28,000 Pureblood Champions in The Red Village ecosystem, divided into four Bloodlines: Genesis (R1-R3 genotype), Mystic (R4-6), Warlord (R7-R9), and Lionheart (R10-12). So far, only the Genesis and Mystic Champions have been released, totaling 11,000 purebloods.
Each The Red Village character class has its own set of strengths and weaknesses in battle and also has unique special moves that can randomly activate during a fight. Some character classes are more aggressive, some hit harder, while others are more defensive. There are five character classes in The Red Village:
Summoning occurs during specific periods of time known as "Summoning Cycles." These cycles happen when the Blood Queen, a powerful being in the game, decides that there has been enough bloodshed and calls forth the Bloodwraith to carry out summoning spells. The availability of summoning is not constant, and the Bloodwraith will appear and disappear based on the number of Champions summoned and tournaments completed. Players can track the progress of the Summoning Cycles on the The Red Village website.
To successfully summon a Champion, players must use a combination of skill, patience, chance, and strategy. Summoning can be a lucrative activity for players, as they have complete ownership of their digital assets and can sell, trade, or dispose of their summoned Champions as they see fit. The goal of summoning is to create Champions that are more powerful and more likely to win tournaments, or have a particular cosmetic rarity. Players may aim to achieve both of these outcomes by optimizing their summoning choices.
Successfully summoning a Champion in The Red Village requires a combination of skill, patience, chance, and strategy. Players who are successful at summoning can profit from the activity, as they have full ownership of their digital assets and can sell, trade, or dispose of their summoned Champions as they see fit. The goal of summoning is to combine the skills of Champions to create more powerful Champions that are more likely to win tournaments, or Champions with a particular cosmetic rarity. Players can use the knowledge gained from the Wisdom feature, which reveals a Champion's traits, strengths, and weaknesses, to optimize their summoning choices and potentially achieve both powerful and rare Champions.
There are four main game modes within The Red Village:
Tournament mode is the primary way to participate in The Red Village. Players can enter their Champion into a player vs player (PVP) fighting tournament for a small fee, and the tournament will take place in one of the game's arenas for the enjoyment of the Blood Queen. Before the tournament starts, players must choose a fighting style: aggressive, defensive, accurate, or balanced. Tournaments can have a maximum of 8 Champions who will fight in a single-elimination style, with each match being a one-on-one battle until only one Champion remains.
To-The-Death is pretty self-explanatory from its name. Two players enter the arena with both their NFTs on the line, when one Champion is defeated, both NFTs will be transferred to the winning Battlemaster's wallet. Free Tournaments are regularly organized competitions in The Red Village where any Battlemaster is eligible to enter and prove their worth. Factions are very similar to any guild or legion system found in traditional games. Players will pledge their allegiance to a specific faction, and their results in battle contribute to the Faction's overall ranking.
For now, The Red Village is available for players to try out its tournament system on the website, but for a more in-depth process on how to start, check out the above graphic.
