You enter with a basic weapon loadout, then build your strength on the fly by picking up temporary upgrades, items, and ability modifiers as you clear rooms. Enemy types, combat pacing, and room layouts change run to run, so success comes from learning patterns, dodging well, and knowing when to push versus when to fall back and reset your rhythm.
