Overview

Stella Fantasy is an instance-based anime RPG that offers stunning graphics and fast-paced action combat. While you may have played similar games before, Stella Fantasy sets itself apart with its unique gameplay. Unlike other games in the genre, Stella Fantasy allows you to control a team of four potential waifus. However, be careful not to fall in love! The game enjoyed its official launch around three months ago, with the latest significant update coming earlier this month with two new characters added to the roster.

First Steps

To begin your adventure in Stella Fantasy, create an account on the official website at https://www.stellafantasy.io/ and download the game. Once you log in, you will find yourself in the main town, a central area where you can interact with NPCs and access portals leading to various instances where you'll spend most of your time grinding. In the main town, you'll have access to:

  • Instances
  • Production facilities, Storage, and Blacksmith
  • Star Sanctum
  • Store

Pressing the Escape key allows you to access additional features, including quests and the Goddess's Ordeal. You can navigate through different locations in town using this menu, but keep in mind that you might miss out on finding some lost items scattered around town.

Instances and Combat System

To enter an instance, either use the blue portal or choose the desired instance type from the "Escape menu." Stella Fantasy offers five different types of instances:

  • Main Story
  • Unique Abyss
  • Mirage Garden
  • Abyss Invader
  • Goddess’s Ordeal
  • Arena (currently unavailable)

Stella Fantasy Gameplay

During your adventures, you will experience the game's combat mechanics, which are quite intuitive. Move your character using the W, D, A, and S keys while controlling the camera with the mouse.

Having quick reflexes and team coordination is essential in combat. Switch between team members using the number keys 1-4.

Skills can be activated using the E and R keys, while a normal attack is performed by clicking the left mouse button. Use the C key to lock onto a specific target and unleash the powerful Stella Strike with the Q key. The Stella Strike ability is only available when you have a full team of four characters.

Stella Fantasy also offers auto-play features, which are recommended for efficient grinding, especially in the late game. Press the Z key to leave your party on auto-play. Completing adventures will reward you with materials and experience potions, allowing your characters to level up and increase their stats as their experience bar fills up.

Stella Fantasy Game Modes

This section covers the different game modes in Stella Fantasy and provides guidance on production stations, the blacksmith, and the Ring of Stella. These features play a significant role in enhancing your gameplay experience. Here's a breakdown of each mode and how they contribute to your progress:

Story Mode

stella fantasy story mode.png

This is where you'll spend most of your time, progressing through the game's storyline and unlocking new features. It's also the primary source for materials needed to craft gear.

Unique Abyss

stella fantasy unique abyss.png

These are time-limited instances that change daily. Here, you can farm character shards, SFTY (in-game currency), materials for crafting, and experience potions.

Mirage Garden

stella fantasy mirage garde.png

A 10-floor adventure with varying difficulties. Clearing more floors rewards you with better loot.

Every time you complete a floor you can choose a buff for your party and you’ll have to choose two paths: The blue which is easiest but will give you less powerful buffs or the red, the hardest path that will reward your party with higher tier buffs.

Abyss Invader

This mode has different seasons and involves facing a powerful boss to deal as much damage as possible. The more damage you deal, the greater your SFTY rewards at the end of the season. Medals earned here can be used in the medals shop.

Goddess’s Ordeal

stella fantasy giant flower.png

Similar to Abyss Invader, you must inflict maximum damage on a boss to earn rewards. Each challenge corresponds to a different elemental color, offering specific crystals to level up characters of that element in the Ring of Stella.

There are different challenges each with a different color. The color represents the different elements. For example, by using your daily tries on the red instance you’ll face a red magic boss and you’ll be rewarded with red crystals which you can use to level up your red element at Ring of Stella

Production Stations and Crafting

In Stella Fantasy, production stations are crucial. You can produce materials like Manaring, Leather, Minerals, and Wood, which are essential for various adventures and gear upgrades. Upgrading the stations and assigning characters with corresponding passive skills can increase the production rate.

But now you wonder, which character should you assign to each station? The one with the corresponding passive skill. For example, if I press C and select Ruby and go to Passive I can see that she’s specialized in Leather making her the perfect candidate to be assigned to the Leather Station.

The Blacksmith

stella fantasy blacksmith.png

When it comes to the Blacksmith, you'll need to assign a character to craft gear. However, rest assured that the assigned characters will still be available for battles and adventures. I recommend selecting a character with the highest Lucky and Super Lucky Success chance, which increases the likelihood of crafting armor or weapons with exceptional stats.

On the left side of the screen, you can choose which items to craft. Prioritize crafting weapons in Stella Fantasy because the damage takes precedence over the defense. Adventures have a time limit, and when time runs out, your party will start taking damage over time. So, focusing on dealing with damage is crucial to success.

When you select an item to craft, it will display the required materials. Clicking on any material will provide a description, and in the top right corner of the box, there's a button. Clicking this button reveals the adventures where you can obtain that specific material. After crafting an item, you can further upgrade it using Manaring.

Ring of Stella

stella fantasy ring of stella.png

The Ring of Stella is one of the game's latest features, providing another way to enhance your party's power. In Stella Fantasy, characters belong to different elements. Through the Ring of Stella, you can level up a specific element, thereby empowering all characters belonging to that element.

By selecting an element, you'll see the required materials and the characters who will benefit from the upgrade. Many of these materials can be obtained by participating in the Goddess Ordeal.

Star Sanctum

stella fantasy overflow.png

Star Sanctum is a unique location where you can boost your party's stats by assigning characters to different planets. Each planet is associated with an element, so I recommend assigning characters to the planet that aligns with your party's composition.

For example, if you have three characters belonging to the red element, focusing on upgrading the red planet will provide the most significant benefits.

Stella Fantasy Missions & Achievements

Missions and achievements play a vital role in progressing quickly in Stella Fantasy. Access them by pressing the 'Escape' key, and they're straightforward to complete. Just follow the task mentioned for each mission or achievement, and once it's done, claim your reward.

I recommend you do at least the daily missions every day. Just by spending 5 minutes in the game, you’ll get a few Essence of Memory which allow you to clear instances without playing them.

Dolls

stella fantasy dolls.png

Dolls function as pets that accompany characters on the battlefield, providing stat boosts. Obtain Dolls by using Lucky Tickets, which can be acquired with crystals, SFTY, Abyss Medals, and by completing achievements.

To obtain Dolls, go to the 'Escape Menu,' click on Dolls, and access the Box Shop. From there, you can use Lucky Tickets to summon 1 or 10 Dolls.

Once you have acquired Dolls, open the character menu by pressing 'C' and select one of your characters. Click on Doll to equip a Doll. I recommend equipping Dolls that enhance your character's strengths. For example, if your character has the Black element and deals physical damage, equip a Doll that boosts their Black Element ATK, physical damage, or physical critical damage.

Stella Fantasy Tips and Tricks

Uncommon Gear

As a beginner, your initial goal should be to reach the first boss as quickly as possible. By defeating this boss, you can farm scrolls to upgrade your Blacksmith to level 2, enabling the crafting of Uncommon Gear.

Once you have a full party equipped with Uncommon Gear, you can farm shards in the "Yesterday's Friend is Today's Foe" Abyss instance whenever it spawns. These shards can be used to summon new characters. Even as a free-to-play player with only 3 characters, it's possible to complete this instance.

Let the game work for you

Stella Fantasy involves grinding, and sometimes you'll need to repeat the same adventure over 100 times to craft a single piece of gear. To make your journey easier, the team has implemented an auto-play feature. Simply enter an instance and press 'Z' to activate auto-play. Utilize this feature whenever possible, allowing the game to farm resources for you while you focus on other tasks or play other games.

To speed up your progress, prioritize the following daily tasks:

  • Missions
  • Mirage Garden
  • Goddess Ordeal
  • "Yesterday's Friend is Today's Foe" Abyss instance (when available)

$SFTY, NFTs and Crystals

stella fantasy SFTY shop.png

Stella Fantasy, being a web3 game, features several web3 assets. Let's start with $SFTY, a token that can be earned by participating in the Abyss Invader during each season and completing the challenging Unique Abyss instance called 'Dimensional Menace'.

You can utilize $SFTY to awaken your characters, enhancing their strength, and also to purchase premium items from the gSFTY shop. Additionally, $SFTY can be traded for real money on certain decentralized exchanges (DEXes).

Crystals, on the other hand, are a premium currency that can be obtained by purchasing them with real money. They have their own dedicated shop where you can acquire premium items, including additional characters. If you're aiming for fast progression, purchasing crystals can be a valuable option to obtain the 4th character for your team.

Last but certainly not least, there are NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) that represent unique characters or equipment within the game. You can directly purchase these NFTs from the Stella Marketplace on their website or sell the ones you acquire in-game.

We hope you found this Stella Fantasy guide enjoyable and informative. Have a great time playing through the campaign, and dive into the rest of the modes the game has to offer once you are done.
