A comprehensive guide covering all you need to know on how to earn Engrams in Shatterline.
Shatterline
Welcome back to another Shatterline guide! In our previous guide, we’ve already gone through the basics and how to get started in the game. This time, we’re diving into one of the most thrilling parts: earning Engrams and reaping in-game rewards. Engrams, a key reward in Shatterline, often go unnoticed but are incredibly valuable. They allow you to unlock items that enhance your HV-MTL gameplay and help you climb the leaderboard to claim new rewards. In this guide, we’ll break down everything you need to know about earning and using Engrams to get ahead. Let’s dive in!
Engrams are rewards you earn by playing Shatterline in both PvP and PvE modes. Think of them as loot boxes filled with keys to unlock crates and ascension materials, which you can trade or list for real-world earnings. Far from being just another in-game reward, Engrams are a core element of Faraway’s ecosystem, seamlessly combining the thrill of gameplay with real earning potential.
Engrams can be earned through various games within the Faraway ecosystem. In Shatterline, the only way to earn Engrams right now is by playing the game, and there’s more than one way to do it. By competing on the game’s leaderboard, you can earn not just Engrams but also USDC as rewards. Worried about not being a hardcore competitive player with pro aim? Don’t sweat it, Shatterline has you covered with separate leaderboard rewards for PvE and PvP modes. The leaderboards reset weekly, with Engrams distributed at the end of each week. As for the USDC rewards, you’ll receive them 30 days after they’re earned. You can always check the prizing leaderboard for updates on your progress.
If you prefer a less intense experience, PvE Expedition is a great option. Here, you’ll stack points by collecting Gears, which you earn through gathering loot and completing tasks in the world. It’s all about strategy and persistence, not outgunning opponents.
On the other hand, PvP is where things get serious. To climb the ranks in this mode, you’ll need solid skills and a competitive edge, as the leaderboard uses an ELO-style system, where you win matches to gain points, but be ready to lose points if you’re defeated.
Before you start participating in the leaderboard you should make sure that you already created a Faraway account and connected to the game.
After obtaining an Engram, you might be wondering where to find it. You can access it in your Faraway Rewards once your account is connected.
To unlock it, head to the Rewards and use a Rift Decoder. Inside the Engram, you’ll discover Rift Keys, Ascension Materials, and Rift Crystals. Here’s how you can make use of these items:
After opening your Engrams, you’ll likely find Rift Keys and Ascension Materials. To turn these rewards into real money, follow these steps:
1. Crafting: To craft your Ascension Materials, you’ll need specific amounts of shards, depending on the material you want to create, and a Rift Crystal as a crafting fee.
2. Minting: Once you’ve crafted your Ascension Material, the next step is to mint it. Minting integrates your item into the ecosystem, allowing you to trade or sell it for real-money rewards.
3. Listing: After minting, go to the Faraway Shop and navigate to your Inventory to start listing your Ascension Materials. Best of all, every transaction in the Faraway ecosystem is gas-free, so you don’t need to worry about additional fees.
That’s all for now, soldier! We hope this guide has fueled your confidence to take on the leaderboard and given you a solid understanding of how to navigate the Faraway ecosystem through Shatterline. Keep exploring, keep competing, and most importantly, have fun. Stay tuned for more guides, and we’ll see you on the battlefield!
