Players must use Free Chances linked to their Puff NFTs to enter League matches. If they fail in the first round or remain inactive for more than five days, their ranking may decrease.

Once Free Chances are exhausted, players can continue competing by purchasing Passes using USDC. Ninety percent of the USDC spent on Passes is allocated to the Basic Prize Pool, which is designed to reward all players who achieve Gold rank or higher. This prize pool starts with a $5000 USDC allocation and 750 vePUFF tokens. However, since a percentage of Pass purchases contributes to this pool, its total value increases as more players buy Passes. The higher a player ranks, the larger their share of the rewards.

Beyond the Basic Prize Pool, a separate Top 100 Prize Pool offers up to 6750 vePUFF tokens for the highest-ranking players who achieve Amber or Archdemon status. PuffGo is available for download as an Android APK on the official Puffverse website and can also be found on the Google Play Store, Xiaomi App Store (GetApps), and Apple App Store. Additionally, players need to install the PuffTown Official App, which allows them to manage their Puff NFTs, claim preseason rewards, and track their ranking. The same account should be used for both PuffGo and PuffTown.

Those who do not own a Puff NFT can acquire one from four different collections available on the Mavis Market: Puff Genesis, Puff Football, Puff New Year, and Puff Astronaut. Each of these NFTs comes with Free Chances, but players should verify their properties before purchasing, as previously used Free Chances will not be refreshed during this preseason. Puff Classic NFTs are also available but do not come with Free Chances.

Since Free Chances do not reset for Puff Genesis and other limited-edition Puff NFTs, players must purchase Passes if they wish to continue playing after using their initial Free Chances. Each Pass costs $2 USDC, and one Pass is required per match.
