You're about to face some of the most intricate puzzle sequences in visual novel gaming. No Sleep for Kaname Date throws you into four distinct escape rooms, each packed with mind-bending challenges that can halt your progress completely. Whether you're stuck on the Ancient Civilization's coordinate puzzle or struggling with the Curse room's color mechanics, this guide breaks down every solution you need.

No Sleep For Kaname Date: All Escape Room Guide

Ancient Civilization Escape Room - Your First Major Challenge

The opening escape room sets the tone for everything ahead. You'll juggle multiple statue pieces, decode number sequences, and navigate a timed finale that demands quick thinking.

Power Activation and Initial Setup

Start by heading left to interact with Crystal A. Grab the blue X Key sitting beside it - this unlocks your path forward. Take this key to the Piloting Console at the room's front and insert it into the X-shaped slot to activate the room's power systems.

With power flowing, collect the Bronze Sumerian Idol (Top) from the chair behind the console, then grab the Bronze Sumerian Idol (Bottom) from the Blue Pedestal at the room's rear. Combine these pieces in your inventory to create a complete Bronze Sumerian Idol.

The Ampule Collection System

Place your completed idol back into the Blue Pedestal to receive your first Ampule. Walk to the Round Relief on your right and insert this ampule into the small slot. The system reveals you need three more ampules to progress.

Hammer Creation and Tile Puzzles

Pick up the Wooden Stick from the room's center and combine it with the Iron Sumerian Idol at the Blue Pedestal to craft your Hammer-Shaped Iron Sumerian Idol. Use this hammer on the Face Tile attached to the right pillar, creating stairs to the upper level.

Gameplay Screenshot

The tile puzzle above requires precise hammer strikes. Compare the pattern shown on the Red Pedestal with the tiles in front of you. Strike only the tiles that match the pedestal's design to avoid resetting the puzzle.

After solving the tiles, you'll lose your hammer but gain an Iron Sumerian Idol and Crystal Sumerian Idol. Insert the crystal idol into the Red Pedestal for your second ampule.

The laser sequence unlocks a Crystal Fragment located on the right side. Combine this fragment with your Crystal Sumerian Idol to create a Crystal Knife, which is essential for progressing to the next phase.

The coordinate puzzle demands careful observation. Match the symbols on room flags with numbers written on your statue backs. The Earth coordinates are 185419. During the timed finale, flip the left flag pattern upside down for the moon coordinates: 281419.

"Curse" Escape Room

This flooding bathhouse scenario splits your attention between Iris and Ota, requiring constant character switching and precise color matching.

Initial Item Collection

As Iris, tear down the poster on your right to reveal a hidden compartment containing a bottle and scroll. The water turns red immediately - this visual cue confirms you're on the right track.

Climb the ladder as Iris and pull the wall protrusion to obtain a small box. This box becomes central to the room's color-based puzzle system.

Hot Spring Color Analysis

Switch to Ota to examine each hot spring's color. These colors directly correspond to the corners of Iris's box puzzle. The solution requires pulling corners in this specific order:

  1. Green, Orange, Yellow intersection
  2. Green, Indigo, Red intersection
  3. Blue and Purple intersection
  4. Blue-only corner

Grid Color Matching

Ota's grid puzzle requires matching each segment to the box colors Iris holds. This opens multiple lockers containing essential items: Basic Finger Model, Ringed Finger Model, Taped Finger Model, Umbilical Cord, Magatama Necklace, and Sportswear.

Gameplay Screenshot

Create a platform using the Citric Acid and baking soda water reaction. Pour citric acid into the mattress air vent, then add baking soda water to inflate it. This provides access to the Memento Appraisal System.

The dice face puzzle requires knowledge of a standard die, where opposite faces always add up to seven. Enter each face correctly to activate the system.

Gameplay Screenshot

The hot spring map puzzle uses death symbols and sun proximity. Examine shapes between numbers 2, 5, and 6 rather than the numbers themselves. Input 153 to save Iris, then raise water levels using the valve to reach the exit.

Invitation to Otherworld Escape Room

This planetarium-themed room splits control between Iris, Ota, and Moma, each trapped in separate areas with unique puzzle elements.

Equipment Distribution Phase

Collect the Small Battery and Antenna Stick from the Space Debris Corner, plus Goggles from the Dog Mascot Statue. Combine the battery with goggles to create Night Vision Goggles for Ota.

The Tesa IC Card system requires careful item management. Use it at the vending machine to obtain an Alcohol-Filled Paper Cup, then combine with the card to separate into Tesa Sticker, Paper Cup, and Strange Code Card.

Each character accesses different floors using collected buttons:

  • 1380 opens the panel containing the 6F Button
  • Line length analysis reveals code 634215 for the 5F Button
  • Shooting the lizard moon's eye precisely drops the 10F Button

Gameplay Screenshot

Constellation Manipulation

The star pattern puzzle requires identifying the incorrect constellation using the Constellation Chart. Remove Constellation Panel D to access Proverb Card 3 and the floor return button.

Load the Toy Gun with ammunition and aim specifically at the lizard moon's eye. Other moons appear in both rooms, but the lizard moon is the unique target you need to focus on.

The climactic puzzle presents multiple Iris copies. Switch to Iris's perspective to locate the lizard moon's position, then shoot the fake Iris positioned to Moma's right. However, be sure to check the moon again. If the lizard's eye appears unshot, it means both Iris copies are fake and must be taken out.

Non-Existent Station Escape Room

This train-based scenario combines cocktail puzzles, bomb defusal, and temperature challenges across multiple connected cars.

Cocktail Sequence Puzzle

Start with the Metal Plate from Date's dashboard - when flipped upside down, "ICE" becomes "341" for the freezer combination. Arrange the cocktails in this specific order:

Moscow Mule -> White Lady -> Margarita -> Spitzer -> Gin and Tonic

This corresponds to the numerical sequence 3->4->2->2->5 based on alcohol content.

Gameplay Screenshot

Casino Floor Mechanics

The cocktail colors spell out "ALLIN" when you match color names to their corresponding numbered positions. This grants access to the White Chip needed for the dice game. Find the Dice inside Pillar B after interpreting the thermal message "Kick Out the Leg of the Striped." The dance floor game exchanges your white chip for a Blue Chip.

You have exactly 250 seconds to defuse the bomb. Collect glass sheets from route maps in both Moma's and Ota's cars. These reveal "Blue" and "Red" intersection points on Date's bomb diagram. Use the Wire Cutters to cut only where red and blue wires intersect - cutting wrong wires triggers an immediate game over. Heat the Fridge to exactly 800°C using lit Cigarettes from the candle. The Keycard inside operates the drone delivery system between cars.

Control the Switchboard by turning blue wheels left and red wheels right to match the Somnium 2 flashback pattern. This enables hologram deactivation and drone operation.

Gameplay Screenshot

Position characters in designated seats based on floor line colors matching the monitor display:

  • Ota: Third seat from left
  • Moma: First seat on left

The train organization puzzle provides ample moves - focus on color grouping rather than speed. When prompted for the final name input, choose "Aiba" as the only viable option, then select "Ask the Moon for Help" from the eight choices.
