Yuga Labs, the leading web3 company building Otherside, just announced the acquisition of Roar Studios for an undisclosed sum.

Roar Studios has made waves in the tech startup scene with its cutting-edge metaverse platform, ROAR, which brings together users through gaming, music, social media, and an immersive environment. The platform allows musicians from all genres to collaborate and create music together, enhancing social interactions.

As part of this exciting collaboration, Roar Studios' Founder and CEO, Eric Reid, will be joining Yuga Labs as the General Manager of Otherside Meta. This strategic move reinforces Yuga Labs' commitment to elevating the quality of content and social experiences within the Otherside metaverse.

The timing of this acquisition couldn't be better, as it follows the successful live in-person demonstration of the Otherside gamified metaverse world, specially crafted for the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) community.
