Yield Guild Games partners with the9bit to advance global web3 gaming adoption, offering accessible gameplay, creator tools, and real rewards to players across emerging markets.
Yield Guild Games (YGG), a global collective of gamers and builders advancing web3 gaming ecosystems, has announced a strategic partnership with the9bit, a next-generation gaming platform focused on gameplay, top-ups, creator rewards, and community interaction. This collaboration is intended to accelerate the adoption of web3 gaming by making it more accessible and rewarding for players worldwide. The partnership began with the launch of the9bit’s early beta access on July 15, 2025, and has now progressed into full operations with the platform’s official launch on August 1, 2025.

The collaboration between the9bit and YGG brings together two organizations with a shared focus on community engagement and player empowerment. YGG, recognized for its pioneering Guild Protocol that enables communities to self-organize and build reputation on-chain, brings experience in scaling player onboarding and supporting developer ecosystems. With a presence across Southeast Asia, Latin America, India, and other emerging regions through 11 regional guilds and 105 on-chain guilds, YGG offers a structured network for growing player participation in blockchain-enabled games.
the9bit complements this by offering a gaming experience that integrates web3 functionalities into a familiar web2 interface. Features such as automatically generated wallets, local fiat payment support, and token-convertible rewards are designed to reduce barriers to entry for new users. The platform allows players to engage with AAA intellectual property games, top up popular mobile titles, complete missions, watch ads, post content, and manage communities within designated Spaces - interactive community hubs unique to the platform.

As part of the partnership, the9bit will be integrated into YGG’s regional onboarding programs and guild activities. Members of the YGG ecosystem will receive early access to upcoming features on the9bit platform, increased mission rewards, enhanced tools for content creators, and dedicated grants to support guild leaders in building and migrating their Spaces. This collaboration is structured to provide ongoing value to both communities by combining YGG’s established infrastructure with the9bit’s inclusive platform features.
YGG Co-Founder Gabby Dizon noted that the partnership reflects shared priorities around accessibility and value. He stated that the9bit’s model supports long-term player engagement by focusing on real incentives and straightforward user experiences. According to Dizon, making popular games more accessible and rewarding is central to YGG’s approach to building sustainable ecosystems.
“We’re excited to welcome the9bit into the YGG ecosystem. They have a clear vision and they’re building with players in mind - from the Space Mining concept to making major IP games more accessible through platforms like Steam. Their approach to rewards provides real value and encourages players to stay active and engaged. This is the kind of thinking we like to see in web3, where it’s about making the experience more accessible, rewarding, and player-driven. We’re looking forward to collaborating with the9bit as we help shape the future of player-first ecosystems.”
Martin Hoon, Head of web3 at The9 Limited, emphasized that the partnership with YGG aligns with the9bit’s goal of creating an all-in-one space for players, creators, and community leaders. Hoon highlighted that this collaboration strengthens the9bit’s ability to reach a broader audience and support new forms of digital participation.

The9bit and YGG plan to collaborate closely on a variety of initiatives, including regional campaigns, live question-and-answer sessions, in-game missions, and tournaments. These activities are designed to showcase the earning potential for players and creators using the9bit platform. Both teams believe that focusing on trusted intellectual property, real financial rewards, and authentic community participation is essential for expanding the reach of web3 gaming.
As the web3 gaming landscape continues to evolve, this partnership aims to remove technical complexities and create entry points for new users. YGG’s role in community coordination and onboarding will support the9bit’s efforts to grow its user base, particularly in regions where mobile gaming is already popular. With YGG’s community already demonstrating strong engagement and consistent earnings, the collaboration is expected to drive significant player activity and word-of-mouth growth.
