XPLA has announced a new partnership with the Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA) and web3 technology company PUNKVISM to launch a web3 Game Incubation Program. The collaboration aims to support early-stage blockchain gaming projects and onboard them to the XPLA mainnet, which is built on Tendermint and is the first ISAE 3000-certified blockchain network. This move marks an expansion of the Web3 Game Acceleration Consortium, originally initiated by KMGA and PUNKVISM, with XPLA joining as a core incubation partner.

The web3 Game Incubation Program is designed to assist blockchain game developers through all stages of development, from initial concept to post-launch growth. The program provides end-to-end support that includes technical assistance, integration with the XPLA mainnet, and access to global publishing channels. In addition to helping with development and onboarding, the initiative focuses on crafting go-to-market strategies tailored to the needs of each project.
The goal is to reduce the entry barriers that developers often face in the web3 space. By offering infrastructure, consulting, investment guidance, and publishing support, the program creates an environment where blockchain games can be developed and launched more efficiently. Paul Kim, Team Lead at XPLA, noted in the official Medium announcement that although the potential of the web3 game market is significant, the industry still poses challenges for new entrants. According to Kim, this program is intended to provide developers with a stable development environment and broader access to global audiences.

Each of the three partners plays a specific role in the web3 Game Incubation Program. XPLA is contributing its blockchain infrastructure and technical expertise, focusing on the performance optimization and integration of games on its Layer 1 mainnet. The company’s responsibilities also include providing strategic guidance to ensure that the games can scale effectively and reach a global user base.
KMGA, a representative organization in Korea’s mobile gaming industry, brings consulting and educational support to the program. It leverages its network and experience to guide developers through the complexities of both the local and international gaming markets. PUNKVISM adds its focus on NFTs and real-world assets (RWA), helping to identify projects with potential and supporting their development within the web3 ecosystem.
According to the joint announcement, the collaboration between XPLA, KMGA, and PUNKVISM is not a one-time effort but the beginning of a long-term initiative. The program is expected to continue expanding with more projects and partners, aiming to build a sustainable web3 gaming ecosystem.

As of now, no official timeline for the launch of the web3 Game Incubation Program has been shared. There is also no formal application process available to the public at the time of writing. It is not yet clear whether applications will be accepted or if projects will be selected directly by the partners involved. Developers interested in participating are encouraged to stay informed through XPLA’s official channels for future updates and announcements.
XPLA’s ecosystem already includes several established games, such as The Walking Dead: All-Stars, Summoners War: Chronicles, and Heirs of Light: Eclipse. The new incubation program aims to continue growing this portfolio by supporting new web3 game developers with the tools, infrastructure, and strategic support needed to bring their games to market.
