XOCIETY Phase Zero Goes Live

XOCIETY has launched its Phase Zero cross-play test, marking the first live demo of the game’s multi-platform play between PC and SuiPlay0x1. Running for 15 days until September 1, the playtest features a total prize pool of 20 million $XO tokens, valued at approximately $148,000.

The test introduces cross-platform gameplay, controller functionality, and an on-chain system for prize withdrawals, allowing players to experience both the game’s mechanics and its web3 integration in a live environment.

Phase Zero represents XOCIETY’s first real-time test of cross-platform play and the utility of its $XO token. Players can access the playtest by downloading “XOCIETY: Phase Zero” through the Epic Games Store. Both PC and SuiPlay0x1 platforms are supported, with controller gameplay available for testing during this event. In addition to competitive matches, Phase Zero focuses on testing the on-chain claiming process for rewards, giving players a practical experience with the game’s blockchain-powered prize distribution.

Three modes are available during Phase Zero. Unrated mode focuses on credit collection and safe extraction. Competitive mode allows players to earn $XO tokens through MOTUS and XO pack conversion. A UGC battle royale mode rewards credits based on survival ranking. Players begin each match by choosing one weapon and skill during the map drop phase, with selections locked until a new item is found in-game.

Matchmaking is skill-based, aiming to provide balanced gameplay across all sessions. Servers for Phase Zero are live each day across three regions: North and South America (01:00–04:00 UTC), Asia (12:00–15:00 UTC), and Europe (17:00–20:00 UTC). A special Gamescom session will also run between August 20 and August 24, extending EU server hours from 07:00 to 17:00 UTC to allow more players to participate.

20 Million $XO Token Rewards

The prize pool for Phase Zero is distributed across several activities, including gameplay, daily logins, battle pass progression, and community events. Of the total rewards, 12.5 million $XO are allocated to competitive matches, while over 4.4 million $XO will be distributed through daily check-ins. The battle pass contributes another 3 million $XO, and community events add a further 200,000 $XO.

Competitive gameplay remains the largest earning opportunity. Players gather MOTUS, convert it into XO Packs, and redeem them as $XO tokens or in-game items. Participation in competitive mode requires an entry ticket, which can be obtained through the battle pass or purchased in-game. Matches consist of up to 30 players divided into 10 teams of three.

Battle Pass and Rewards

The battle pass provides over 3 million $XO in rewards across standard and premium tiers. Players earn XP to progress through levels and unlock token rewards. Daily check-ins offer additional incentives, with over 4.4 million $XO available during the 15-day period.

Achievement events further reward top-performing players. Categories include most XO packs extracted, most credits collected, most player kills, and most PVE kills. A total of 100,000 $XO will be awarded, with the top five players in each category sharing prizes.

XOCIETY is also rewarding content creators through two video challenges: “Clutch Moments” and “Best Gameplay Wrap-up.” Each contest features a 50,000 $XO prize pool, distributed among the top seven entries. Submissions must be posted on X and shared in the XOCIETY Discord server.

Play-to-Prosper Model

$XO is the native token of XOCIETY, which combines third-person shooter and RPG gameplay elements. Built on the Sui network, the token has a fixed supply of 5 billion and underpins the in-game economy. Rewards earned during Phase Zero will unlock starting September 26, following a vesting schedule.

The game applies a “play-to-prosper” model, where in-game spending contributes to a shared reward pool, reinforcing a cycle between participation and earning potential.
