Undead Blocks has undeniably been one of the fastest rising blockchain shooter games in popularity, thanks to their consistent tournaments and marketing initiatives. Wagyu Games is once again back with a free-to-play tournament featuring a $10K prize pool sponsored by Genblock Capital. This time around the allowed weapon is the AK-47, and understandably, the tournament is dubbed the AKM Assault.

The tournament kicks off on August 12th, with the exact starting time yet to be confirmed at the time of writing, and ends on August 14th. However, the previous two tournaments lasted 48 hours so players are expecting a similar timeline for the AKM Assault tournament. The rules are going to feel very similar to anyone who played the MP5 Massacre tournament, with players having 10 minutes to kill as many zombies as possible.

However, Wagyu Games added a tiny spin that can throw your entire plans off rail. This time around zombies will spawn faster every minute, increasing the number of undead trying to take you down with them back to the grave. Survival is definitely not going to be easy for those who don’t prepare well.

The AKM Assault tournament $10K prize pool is split across the top 2000 players, with the 1st place taking home $1000 by themselves. The 2nd and 3rd places will get $250 and $100 respectively, then the remainder is split into ranges decreasing in value all the way down to the 2,000th player.

Polkastarter Gaming previously sponsored a $10K free-to-play tournament featuring the MP5 and a custom-made skin with our branding. The tournament set new records for Undead Blocks tournaments, with over 1.6K participating players, killing 11.2 Million zombies between them. Each of these players played Undead Blocks for an average of 3.5 hours trying to clock the highest number of zombies killed in 10 minutes.
