Treeverse, the top-down web3 MMORPG developed by Endless Clouds, has officially confirmed that its $END token generation event (TGE) will take place in June. While the team has not yet disclosed the exact date, the announcement follows the conclusion of Season 1 and includes a detailed outline of changes and additions planned for Season 2.
Treeverse Announces $END Token Launch
Treeverse is a classless web3 MMORPG that emphasizes player choice and flexibility. The game starts in the city of Lorwick and features action-based, mobile-friendly combat. Players can create their own builds by combining different skills, weapons, and tools without being confined to traditional roles. The gameplay supports both solo and group play and encourages long-term progression through exploration, crafting, and base-building.
The game is available on iOS, Android, and PC via the Epic Games Store. It is the flagship title of Endless Clouds, a studio founded in 2021 that has raised $4.2 million in funding. The team continues to focus on accessibility, player-driven systems, and a sustainable in-game economy as Treeverse evolves toward a more complete web3 gaming experience.
Treeverse Announces $END Token Launch
Season 1 ran from April 27 to May 18 and lasted 21 days. It marked Treeverse's first large-scale campaign and saw high levels of participation from the community. According to the development team, more than 40,000 players took part in the season, collectively recording 36 years’ worth of gameplay. A total of 243 players reached level 82, and the highest recorded dungeon clear was at level 277. The game also gained visibility through streaming platforms, with over 95,000 unique viewers on Twitch and a significant presence on social media.
The season featured a reward campaign that distributed 2.76% of the total $END token supply. Additional rewards included 150,000 $IMX, 1.25 million $MON, 20 ETH, 375,000 Immutable Gems, and 20 Treeverse NFTs. All campaign rewards are set to be released without vesting at the time of the $END TGE. Final leaderboard results will be announced in early June. Although Season 1 has ended, the servers remain online, allowing players to continue playing ahead of the next season.
Treeverse Announces $END Token Launch
The $END token is Treeverse’s native ERC-20 cryptocurrency, designed to function as the main in-game currency. It has a fixed total supply of 500 million tokens. Players will use $END to purchase cosmetic items, unlock limited-time events, and gain access to premium in-game content. Although the token was not live during Season 1, participants earned rewards denominated in $END, which will be distributed once the TGE goes live. The token’s introduction is a key component in shaping Treeverse’s long-term in-game economy.
With Season 2, the Treeverse team is aiming to bring the game closer to its intended gameplay structure. According to the official announcement, the focus is on improving core gameplay systems, including crafting, gathering, combat mechanics, and character progression. Several engineering changes are also in progress. These include updates to the inventory interface, enhancements to the skill panel, and the introduction of charged abilities that are linked to specific weapon types. Tools used for resource gathering now come with item stats, allowing for greater depth in professions such as mining and fishing.
Behind the scenes, the game's backend infrastructure is being upgraded. The developers are transitioning from Redis to Postgres to improve server performance. Monster AI is also being reworked, along with updates to the dialogue and quest systems. In terms of visual development, existing zones such as Lorwick are being refreshed, and new areas like Kenryos and Calbree Forest are being developed for future releases.
Treeverse Announces $END Token Launch
Treeverse's Beta phase is expected to deliver a more complete version of the game. This phase is not intended to be just another season but rather a foundational version that reflects the game's core mechanics and identity. Key gameplay elements under development for Beta include a reworked combat system where each weapon has distinct behavior, expanded talent trees, and refined progression systems tied to crafting and gathering.
Additional features are also being prepared. These include new microtransaction options, social interaction tools like emotes and stickers, and new cosmetic elements such as pets and mounts. The development team has recently expanded, bringing on two new engineers and a sound designer to support faster and more consistent updates. As the $END token launch approaches and Season 2 development progresses, Treeverse aims to expand its presence in the web3 gaming space by delivering structured improvements and a more engaging player experience.
