Akedo Games, known for contributing to popular titles like PUBG Mobile and AFK Arena, is set to launch its first Telegram game, Akedog, on July 18. This move is seen as a strategic effort to capitalize on Telegram’s extensive user base, which currently stands at 900 million users.

What is Akedog Games?

Akedog, described as a "tap-to-earn" style clicker game, allows players to accumulate Telegram NFT Pets known as Akedogs. Players can collect, merge, nurture, and trade these pets to enhance their abilities for competitive battles within the game. Similar games such as Notcoin and Hamster Kombat have recently gained substantial popularity, with the latter boasting over 250 million users.

These games provide players with opportunities to earn TON blockchain-based tokens through simple interactions, such as tapping on their screens. In addition to financial support, TOP’s investment offers Akedo Games access to a network of TON developers and ecosystem resources. These resources include the Telegram app Wallet for the TON ecosystem, centralized exchange services, and staking facilities.
