The XAI Foundation, a primary contributor to the XAI blockchain ecosystem, announced a strategic partnership with Foretold Studios, an indie game development studio recognized for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with web3 technologies. This collaboration will bring two anticipated fantasy games from Foretold Studios' Tollan Universe—Tollan Survivors and Tollan Worlds—to the XAI gaming network. As XAI continues its rapid growth, the addition of these titles strengthens its position as a significant player in the emerging web3 gaming industry.

Migration from Immutable to XAI

After three years of development, Foretold Studios has chosen to migrate its flagship games from the Immutable platform to XAI. The Tollan Universe presents a complex fantasy realm defined by ongoing conflict. Central to this universe is a powerful, mystical resource called Mycelium, a magic-infused fungus highly coveted across the land. In this universe, the human race, leveraging both magic and technology, competes with the Legion of Orcs, a savage faction intent on exploiting the dark powers of Mycelium.

Tollan Survivors

Tollan Survivors is a cooperative, reverse bullet hell action roguelite game that sets the stage as a prequel to Tollan Worlds. In this game, players join the human faction to battle massive hordes of Orcs and attempt to seize control of the vital Tollan Peak. The gameplay is designed to deliver intense combat experiences, with players facing challenging, fast-paced action sequences as they progress through the game’s narrative.

Tollan Worlds

Tollan Worlds, which is positioned as a blend of Diablo and Hades, introduces a more comprehensive action RPG experience set in the Tollan Universe. Following the events of Tollan Survivors, this title immerses players in a world threatened by a new army of cursed creatures emerging from the depths of Tollan Peak. As conflict spreads, players are drawn into a high-stakes struggle across the continent, with gameplay focusing on intricate combat mechanics and strategic character development.
