SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

A new title in the SpongeBob franchise, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, was confirmed for release on PlayStation 5 on November 18, 2025. This installment allows players to switch between SpongeBob and Patrick, a feature that has been frequently requested by fans. The game includes musical contributions from David Hasselhoff and features new locations and challenges set in Bikini Bottom.

Preorders for the game are now live. All editions include the Natural Costume DLC at no additional cost. A Ghostly Digital Edition will include the Tidal Season Pass, which will also be available for separate purchase. For those looking to collect previous games in the series, the Bikini Bottom Bundle offers all SpongeBob titles and downloadable content in one package.

Gothic 1 Remake

THQ Nordic and developer Alkimia Interactive announced the availability of a demo for the Gothic 1 Remake. The demo includes a standalone section titled the Nyras Prologue, which is not part of the final game but provides a spoiler-free introduction to the game world. This remake aims to update the classic RPG for modern audiences while retaining elements familiar to longtime fans. In addition to the remake, THQ Nordic confirmed that Gothic Classics 1, 2, and 3 will be released for PlayStation 5 in 2026.

Eternal Life of Goldman

Another new title featured in the showcase was Eternal Life of Goldman, a 2.5D platformer with a dark tone and narrative-driven gameplay. The trailer revealed a story centered around the protagonist Goldman and the consequences of his past. The game emphasizes exploration and precision, with level design intended to complement the narrative. Characters and environments are designed to support a layered story while offering gameplay suited to fans of platform-style mechanics.

Tides of Tomorrow

Digixart, known for Route 96, presented new details about Tides of Tomorrow. The game introduces asynchronous gameplay mechanics where player decisions influence the wider game world shared with other players. Set in a colorful, post-apocalyptic environment, Tides of Tomorrow blends collaborative storytelling with choice-driven progression. The showcase provided a closer look at how players’ actions can alter narrative paths and shape the fate of the game’s universe.

Wreckfest 2

BugBear Entertainment revealed that it is developing a sequel to its popular demolition derby racing title. Wreckfest 2 is expected to release on PlayStation 5 in 2026. Known for its blend of arcade-style action and realistic vehicle damage modeling, the Wreckfest franchise has built a reputation for chaotic, physics-based racing. The sequel is expected to build on the original's strengths while introducing new features tailored to modern hardware capabilities.

Titan Quest II

The showcase included new information on Titan Quest II, a sequel to the action RPG that originally debuted in the mid-2000s. Set in a world inspired by ancient Greek mythology, the game allows players to create custom heroes by combining two masteries from a wide selection. Unlike traditional class systems, this approach supports varied playstyles and strategic depth. The game features combat against mythological creatures and exploration of locations not seen in previous titles. It is currently in development for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5.

Wreckreation

The team behind the Burnout series introduced Wreckreation, a racing game that emphasizes player creativity. The game includes over 60 vehicles and supports dynamic control over in-game elements such as music, weather, traffic, and time of day through a system known as the Game DJ. A key feature is its live mix building mode, which allows players to construct and modify race tracks in real time. Tracks can include loops, ramps, and custom objects placed anywhere in the open world. The gameplay trailer demonstrated how players can create and share challenges with others. Wreckreation is scheduled to launch later this year.
