In The Forge, rerolling your race is an important way to tailor your character to specific playstyles. Whether you want to focus on combat efficiency, mining speed, or overall versatility, selecting the right race can influence both your stats and your in-game appearance.
The process begins early in the game when players are directed to Sensei Moro as part of the opening quest. Speaking to Moro opens a screen that displays your character along with available races. The default option is Human, but players can choose to reroll immediately by pressing the Reroll button at the bottom of the interface.
Initially, players are limited to three Spins for rerolling. While this may restrict early attempts, additional Spins can be obtained through active redeemable codes. Each reroll not only changes the race but may also alter the character’s appearance. Once players leave Moro’s screen, they cannot return to him for future rerolls. This necessitates finding a different NPC for subsequent race changes.
Locating the Wizard for Race Changes
After the initial interaction with Sensei Moro, rerolling requires visiting the Wizard NPC. To reach the Wizard, players need to take the path that leads left instead of going directly to The Cave. This route takes you up a hill behind the NPC Greedy Cey. Following the path leads to a building with a tall tower behind it. The building’s front doors are closed, but players can walk through them without any additional interaction.
Inside the building, the Wizard can be approached for a conversation that includes multiple dialogue options. Selecting the option to change your race brings up the same interface seen when first speaking with Moro. Players will have access to the race odds, stats, and available Spins. In addition, The Forge allows players to save multiple races in up to three slots, enabling quick swapping between characters. Two of these slots are unlocked by reaching level 30 and level 100, while all slots can also be purchased with Robux.
