Indie developer Mon Studios has officially launched the Enchanted Guild Wars event in its monster-catching MMORPG, Spellborne. This event, running from June 2 to July 2, introduces a competitive play-to-earn system where guilds can earn rewards in the form of $BORNE tokens. The month-long event focuses on collaborative gameplay and rewards the top-performing guilds from a prize pool of 250,000 $BORNE tokens. About Spellborne and Token

The $BORNE token, the in-game currency tied to Spellborne’s play-to-earn mechanics, is expected to go live in June. The token generation event (TGE) is being conducted in partnership with Blackhole, a decentralized exchange powered by Avalanche and developed by SuperVerse. Blackhole is co-founded by Alex Becker and EllioTrades, both known figures in the web3 gaming ecosystem. Although the token is expected to launch while the Enchanted Guild Wars event is ongoing, the distribution of $BORNE rewards will occur after the event concludes, once the TGE is completed.

Spellborne is available as a free-to-play game through web browsers, and it also supports mobile platforms. To join the event, players may either become a member of an existing guild or create a new one. Creating a guild requires owning an Apartment NFT and spending 400 gold nuggets. Due to ongoing system changes, the creation of new guilds may be temporarily restricted, so players are advised to consult Spellborne’s official Discord server for assistance or confirmation. Joining an active guild is currently the most accessible option for new participants. Guilds can have up to 50 members, and collaboration is essential to improve chances of winning.

Crystals are central to gameplay during this event, as they are used to capture monsters in the wild. There are four types of crystals, each with varying effectiveness: Crystal, Super Crystal, Hyper Crystal, and Prismatic Crystal. Higher-tier crystals provide increased success rates for capturing rare monsters, which in turn contribute more points to the guild’s total. Crystals can be obtained through daily missions, crafted at the Heiwa Crafting Building, or purchased in the Greater Market located in Yorokobi Town. Players can also earn gold nuggets for purchases by completing quests listed on the town’s Task Board.
