Revolving Games (RG), a publisher specializing in decentralized web3 gaming and digital ownership, has announced a new collaboration with Animoca Brands. This partnership is aimed at scaling RG’s gaming ecosystem through the development of the Node Network, with guidance from Animoca Brands and support from the RCADE Foundation.

Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, commented: “While the majority of web3 games remain largely excluded from mainstream distribution channels, the team behind Revolving Games has a proven track record in designing, developing, and launching games that have captivated mass audiences. We look forward to the expansion of Revolving Games’ IP ecosystem and its onboarding of mainstream users into web3.”

Who Are Revolving Games

Revolving Games (RG) is a AAA web3 blockchain gaming company that is developing cutting-edge technology to create scalable Play-and-Earn gaming experiences through a connected Metaverse. RG’s mission is powering decentralized Player-Owned trading economies with a focus on seriously fun and lasting gameplay.

The team consists of industry veterans who have built multiple critically and commercially successful social games that have generated collectively over $2.6 billion in lifetime revenue. RG is partnered with and backed by some of the most iconic webb3 companies including Pantera Capital, Animoca Brands, Polygon, Dapper Labs, Permanens Capital Partners, and others.

Over $37 Million in Finding

RG has received over US$37 million in funding from investors including Animoca Brands, Pantera Capital, Polygon, and Dan Houser of Rockstar Games. The funding is partially going towards integrating decentralized infrastructure through the RCADE Chain, Node Network, and $RCADE token.

The team is also developing and releasing several games over the next three years, including four internal games and ten additional AAA titles. One of the projects is Phoenix Flight, part of the Skyborne Legacy franchise, which is scheduled for early access in the fourth quarter. This game aims to introduce mainstream users to RG’s scalable gaming ecosystem, supported by the RCADE Foundation’s Node Network.

According to Saad Zaeem, co-founder and co-CEO of Revolving Games, the collaboration with Animoca Brands is a strategic move to leverage their extensive experience in web3 technology. This early adoption of blockchain technology is seen as a way to stay competitive and adapt as the industry evolves.

“We believe being early and adopting blockchain technology gives us the upper hand in web3, and collaborating with Animoca Brands allows us to tap into the experience of a major web3 pioneer. Early adoption can offer a buffer in a rapidly changing industry, allowing us to learn and execute as the market matures and becomes more data-driven.”

Upcoming Node Sale

As part of the collaboration, Revolving Games will launch its first Node Sale this month. Owners of Nexus Node and RG Byte NFTs will have the chance to claim nodes by staking their NFTs. An exclusive pre-sale for Scout Nodes will precede a public sale.

Ammar Zaeem, co-founder and co-CEO of Revolving Games, explained that adding new games to the ecosystem not only attracts users but also increases the demand for decentralized services provided by node operators. The RCADE Token is designed to allow users to move assets between games and enable third-party games to develop on the RCADE chain.

“With every game added to the Revolving Games ecosystem, we not only attract new users via compelling IP and gameplay, but we also create greater demand for the decentralized services our node operators provide. This circular gaming ecosystem and economy allow crypto and non-crypto natives alike to seamlessly play the games they love on-chain while owning the digital assets they accrue for time and skill invested, all underpinned by a community-operated node network."
