RavenQuest, the free-to-play MMORPG, has announced the launch of Guild Wars, an engaging new game mode set to offer players intense battles and lucrative rewards. The upcoming Guild Wars will feature 15v15 guild-versus-guild battles where strategy and teamwork will be essential to securing victory.
This anticipated feature will offer a unique blend of competitive gameplay and rewarding incentives, allowing guilds to capture towers, seize the Golden Flag, and earn valuable resources such as Gold and Warforged Shards.

RavenQuest is a top-down pixel-based MMORPG that builds on the success of Ravendawn, a popular web2 game with over 200,000 monthly players. What makes RavenQuest different is its full web3 integration, allowing players to own in-game assets through NFTs while enjoying the game's constantly evolving world.
While some web3 games require upfront investment, RavenQuest is free-to-play, letting players dive in without any initial cost. The game has dedicated zones for those who prefer to avoid PvP, but for players who like competition, PvP offers better rewards and more earning potential.
The Guild Wars mode introduces an exciting new battlefield format where guilds will compete for control of strategically located towers and a central Golden Flag. The battlefield is divided into four towers, one in each corner, which start neutral and can be claimed by any guild. Each tower features a banner that changes color once captured, with controlling guilds earning 5 points every 15 seconds.
The goal is to be the first guild to accumulate 2,500 Victory Points, effectively ending the battle and claiming victory. In addition to tower control, the Golden Flag at the center of the battlefield offers a high-risk, high-reward objective. Guilds can earn 50 points by capturing the flag and delivering it to one of their controlled towers.
However, the player carrying the flag must avoid being defeated, as death or the use of certain skills will result in dropping the flag, adding an element of tactical challenge. Respawn mechanics allow players to quickly return to the battlefield after defeat, with no death penalties, ensuring continuous action.
RavenQuest Guild vs Guild
Guild Wars are set to take place once a week, offering guilds a recurring opportunity to compete for valuable rewards. The first war is scheduled for September 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. Before each war, guilds will participate in a Bidding Phase, during which they must contribute in-game silver to secure their spot in the top 20 bidders.
Up to 30 guilds can participate, with higher bidders receiving enhanced bonuses for the war. The Bidding Phase ensures that only the most committed guilds can participate, with those bidding the highest amounts gaining potential advantages during the battle. Once the bidding is complete, guilds will have 30 minutes before the war begins to finalize their strategies and organize their teams.

To facilitate guild growth and participation, RavenQuest has introduced a Guild Bank system. This shared resource allows guild members to deposit silver, which can then be used to fund guild activities like Guild Wars. While all guild members can contribute silver to the Guild Bank, only the guild Leader and Vice-Leader can control how these funds are used.
The Guild Bank provides a transparent system where all members can monitor the balance and activity, encouraging collaboration and contribution. Additionally, guilds can earn a 2% silver bonus from various in-game activities, such as hunting monsters, which automatically goes into the Guild Bank, further supporting guild events and initiatives.
Winning and participating in Guild Wars will result in significant rewards, including Gold and Warforged Shards. The amount of Gold earned by guild members depends on their performance in both the bidding phase and the battle itself.
These rewards incentivize guilds to perform well in both the bidding and the battles themselves, as a higher ranking leads to greater rewards. In addition, the Gold and Warforged Shards earned from Guild Wars can be reinvested into guild activities or used for personal player progression, allowing for continuous engagement with the game’s ecosystem.

RavenQuest’s Guild Wars feature adds an exciting dimension to the MMORPG, offering players the chance to engage in large-scale, strategic battles for valuable rewards. With a combination of tower capture mechanics, a high-stakes Golden Flag objective, and a structured Guild Bank system, guilds are encouraged to work together both on and off the battlefield.
The weekly Guild Wars promise to be a thrilling event for both participants and spectators alike, enhancing the competitive nature of the RavenQuest experience. The introduction of this mode marks a significant expansion of RavenQuest's free-to-play, play-and-earn model, as guilds now have even more opportunities to earn resources and grow their influence within the game.
