Pre-Launch Success and Player Engagement

Following three sold-out land sales before its release, RavenQuest gained impressive engagement from players. Within one hour of launch, the game had over 8,200 concurrent viewers on Twitch and secured a position among the top four MMORPGs, alongside well-established titles like World of Warcraft and RuneScape. Prior to launch, RavenQuest had already attracted more than one million unique viewers on Twitch, translating to over 250,000 active players within its first days. The game’s availability on both PC and mobile has played a crucial role in drawing a broad audience, helping it to become the most-streamed web3 game to date.

Record-Breaking Streaming and NFT Volume

With high player retention and strong demand for in-game assets, RavenQuest has solidified its position as the most-played web3 MMORPG. Robbie Ferguson, president of Immutable, noted the game’s remarkable launch performance. He emphasized that in just one hour after launch, RavenQuest became the fourth most-streamed MMORPG on Twitch, surpassing Final Fantasy XIV. Ferguson highlighted that RavenQuest set a new record as the most-streamed web3 game in history, nearly doubling the previous record held by Off the Grid. The game’s NFT trading volume exceeded $262,000 within the first 48 hours, ranking it among the highest-grossing web3 gaming launches.

Strategic Partnerships and Community Growth

RavenQuest has attracted significant attention from gaming influencers and secured key partnerships that contribute to its ongoing growth. Among its notable collaborations is an alliance with Tempest Guild, in addition to five other guild partnerships announced on March 15. The success of RavenQuest’s launch reflects the effectiveness of Immutable’s distribution and user acquisition strategy, which has helped bring more players into the web3 gaming ecosystem.

In its first week, RavenQuest recorded 77,445 total players and unique logins, accumulating 1,648,910 total views. The game achieved a ranking of 41.82K on DappRadar and maintained an average session length of 3 hours and 47 minutes, more than double the industry average. Player retention has remained strong, with those initially playing for 10 hours now averaging 7.83 hours per day. Streaming engagement on Twitch also remained high, with 493,000 hours watched and a peak of 9,292 concurrent viewers.
