Project O Reveals Alpha Tournament 2

Koin Games announces Project O’s second alpha tournament on July 26, featuring Blueprint NFTs and unreleased in-game rewards. All current test accounts are eligible to participate.

Koin Games has confirmed the date for the second official tournament of Project O, its trading card game currently in closed alpha development. The tournament is scheduled to take place on July 26 at 2 PM UTC and will feature a double-elimination bracket format. This marks the first structured competitive event of its scale in the game’s alpha phase and represents a move toward more formalized testing of game mechanics, balance, and player strategy.

Unlike previous casual sandbox sessions, this tournament introduces progression and elimination elements designed to simulate the competitive structure planned for future versions of the game. All players with access to current test accounts are eligible to participate, and registration is being organized through the official Project O Discord server.

Blueprint NFTs and On-chain Rewards

According to Juice, a central focus of the tournament will be the opportunity to win Blueprint NFTs, a core component of Project O’s on-chain economic model. Four Blueprint NFTs will be awarded as part of the prize pool, along with a selection of unreleased in-game item packs. Blueprints represent limited-supply, on-chain assets tied to specific card intellectual properties, with only 100 copies minted per design.

Each Blueprint grants holders a share of the royalties generated when associated cards are minted, upgraded, or traded on-chain. This system links gameplay activity with economic value, reinforcing Project O’s approach to integrating web3 infrastructure into game mechanics. Unlike typical in-game rewards, Blueprints cannot be minted publicly and are usually distributed through private sales, community engagement, or competitive events such as this upcoming tournament.

Gameplay Format and Alpha Development Focus

Project O features 13-card decks that are designed for fast-paced matches and tactical gameplay. While wagering and additional competitive features are planned for future development, the current alpha version is focused on core mechanics, balance testing, and progression systems. Visual upgrades and card evolutions are already part of the current build, and player progression is tied to collection achievements and gameplay performance.

The July 26 tournament serves not only as a competitive event but also as a key testing phase for how the game’s mechanics perform under structured conditions. It provides both feedback for the development team and an incentive for players to engage more deeply with the Project O ecosystem.

Participation and Community Engagement

With all current alpha accounts eligible to join, the tournament continues Koin Games’ approach of involving its community in early-stage testing and development. Sign-ups and bracket details are being managed through the Project O Discord, allowing players to coordinate directly with the development team and each other.

As Koin Games continues to develop Project O, events like this tournament reflect the studio’s commitment to integrating blockchain technology with competitive gameplay. The inclusion of Blueprint NFTs as rewards reinforces the game’s focus on long-term player ownership and in-game economic participation.
